PC How long Does An Old One's Army Need To Be?

I've been looking all over, but I just can't seem to find a set distance. I want to know how much flat space i need to clear out on either side of the Eternia Crystal Stand.
 
As per the wiki, you need 61 blocks of legal arena on each side of the crystal. The stand is 5 wide, so a total of 127 blocks. If more space than that meets the arena requirements, the event can occupy up to (nearly) double that range.
 
What Mental Mouse says. Do yourself a favour though: Make both sides at least a 100 tiles, because the longer the enemy needs to walk, the less headaches you'll be having.

Only problem with that would be what i plan on doing, which would make me end up buying 200 conveyors.
