Welcome to my first guide! I'll be telling you how to survive and win your first golem fight!
Prep and recommended items:
Prep:
-Make sure you have 450+ Health for best results, but no lower than 400.
-Clear out the traps in the Lihzahrd Temple's boss room. Removing spikes is also a great idea.
-Next, you should add some torches, so you can see if you don't use Frost Armor.
-Finally, gather some power cells and head to the altar!
Items:
-Frost Armor, useful for the lighting and for the Frostburn.
-Chlorophyte Shotbow, preferably Unreal.
-Chlorophyte Arrows, they bounce, making them pretty OP for a relatively cheap cost.
-Any Ichor-applying weapon. I used a Megashark with Ichor bullets.
-Menacing Obsidian+ shield, helps for anti-knockback and +defense, modifier helps by increasing max damage output.
-Menacing Ranger Emblem, +19% Ranged damage.
-Menacing Wings, preferably around Flame Wings tier.
-Menacing Lightning Boots+, in case you need to use ground traved to escape or something.
-Warding Anything.
-A good backup weapon, like something magic or gun, in case you run out of arrows.
The fight:
-Start by right clicking the Lihzahrd Altar. This summons the Golem. Then, apply ichor effect to the fists and head.
-Focus on the fists with your shotbow, or go crazy and let the bouncing take care of it.
-Once both fists are down, keep the head ichored. This helps alot.
-Repeat until phase 2.
-Once the Golem's head begins to fly off and shoot at you, apply ichor to the body.
-Finally, shoot the crap out of him
-Repeat until he has died.
Some recommended buffs:
-Wrath
-Endurance
-Lifeforce
-Heartreach
-Archery
-Rage
-Inferno
-Ironskin
-Obviously some Greater Healing Potions
