Terrarian
I want to delete the tModLoader files from my computer, doesn't matter why. does anyone know a safe way that wont hurt my terraria files?
I already did it without knowing it would revert back lol, but thnx for replyingRight-click Terraria in Steam, click Properties, go to the Local Files tab, and click the button that says "Verify Integrity of Game Files". That should revert your Terraria back to Vanilla.
That means that one file (likely your modded Terraria.exe) is different than Steam’s version and was replaced. You should have an unmodded Terraria now.It says 1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired. What do I do?
The same happened to me except it said 2 instead of 1. I tried validating it again and it said the same thing. That means that one file (likely your modded Terraria.exe) is different than Steam’s version and was replaced. You should have an unmodded Terraria now.
Try this:The same happened to me except it said 2 instead of 1. I tried validating it again and it said the same thing.
Thank You!Try this:
Go to the Terraria folder (go to Steam, right-click Terraria, Properties, Local Files, Browse Local Files...) and delete everything in it, then verify again. That should both reinstall Terraria and get rid of any unwanted files.
It won't let me press that button because Terraria is apparently not installedRight-click Terraria in Steam, click Properties, go to the Local Files tab, and click the button that says "Verify Integrity of Game Files". That should revert your Terraria back to Vanilla.
Try installing it then? That's weird. It won't let me press that button because Terraria is apparently not installed
