Hello my fellow Trovians! My name is Deku the Trovian, and today I’ll be showing you how you can download Terraria worlds and characters to your IOS Devices for the newest update to the game, 1.3!
So firstly, you’ll need to know that this update is compatible with any pc world that was created below Terraria version 1.3.0.1, any version higher won’t work at all and will instantly crash your game if you try to start the world up.
Now, head to a website called Maps - Terraria - CurseForge to look for any world you’d like, this also works for finding characters.
Nextly, when you find the world you want to download, select the world link. If the world isn’t in version 1.3.0.1 or below, then select the files tab of the download to see multiple versions of the world itself. Find any version below 1.3.0.1 to download and select the link.
When you’re brought to MediaFire to download the world, make sure it has .wld at the end of it. If it’s a zip file, then save the zip file to your “Save to Files” section of your IOS device and send it into your iCloud Drive. Afterwards, head to a website called Archive Extractor and select the choose file button, then go to browse and navigate to your iCloud Drive folder and look for the zip file. Select it and the website will unzip the file and you’ll see the .wld file below it. Select it and it will bring you to the download page once again.
Now, when you have your .wld file, instead of saving it to your iCloud Drive, you’re going to press on “On My (iOS Device Name)”, Terraria, Worlds, and then add.
Lastly, open up your Terraria and your world will be there safe and sound and ready to go!
Player files will go in the same way as every step, but instead of going into the Worlds folder, you’ll put them into the Players folder!
