How to install tConfig alongside 1.2 with Terraria Game Launcher (2015)

i have a problem with config when i open it on gamelauncher

After I fixed the 'please launch the game from steam client' issue, this pops up. any ideas how to fix?

I am having trouble even getting it to launch. I can install patches and stuff fine, but when I press launch the launcher will disappear for maybe 10 - 20 seconds and then reappear. If I go to log it states:
12:37:07 PM Start() - Starting: tAPI.exe
12:37:07 PM Start() - Process started
12:37:16 PM Start() - Process exited


Can anybody help? I would really like to mod my terraria, I really would like a few certain mods!
 
Getting a error saying that it was unable to load steam.api_dll help

I can't seem to find the Terraria.exe folder. The set up program won't let me use light shot to take screen shots. so I'll walt you through my steps.

1) Clicked "Browse . . .
2)Went to "Documents\My Games\Terraria"
3)Clicked on the "Terraria" folder
4)"Terraria.exe" is not in the "Terraria" folder.

I'm so confused.

is there any way I can fix this? do I re install terraria? I have Terraria open right now so I don't see a problem.
