haiiii :3 creating this guide because I wish I had this when I was trying to transfer my files.
Step 1:
On your apple iOS device (ipad, phone, whatever), go to the application 'files' and search terraria, open the character/word file and press select in the top right hand corner and select the file you want to transport and press share, then airdrop the file to your macbook (note you can only do this with one file at a time)
Step 2:
Locate where the airdropped files are on your macbook (should be in downloads or on your desktop) and here comes the part that i found most tricky whne doing it myself...
go onto finder and use the command CMD + Shift + G to access your macbook's hidden files and paste the following into thr search bar: /Library/Application Support/Terraria
Step 3:
find the character/world folder and drag + drop the character/world you wanted to be transfered into their respective folder.
Step 4:
Load up your game and check if it's working!
