PC hq2x and other Image filter packs

Quine

Official Terrarian
with the introduction of texture pack support, i wanted bring back one of my favorite texture packs from 1.2.
using the programs provided on the thread from TO, i was able to make a version compatible with 1.3.4.2+.
all credit goes to @NanoPi for making the original pack and scripts. if you would like to see the original thread, you can find it here
(resize scripts have been added to the download section in the situation of dead links and/or failure to update the pack)

What is this pack?
this pack is made using three different image filters: hq2x, xbr and xbrz. you can read more about them here: Pixel-art scaling algorithms - Wikipedia
Process
each of the filters are used to upscale images in a more refined quality.
in this pack most of terraria's images are down-scaled to a 1:1 pixel ratio instead of it's default 2:1 using some imaging tools.
image filters are applied to them while resizing them x2, returning them to the 2:1 ratio again.
after the image filters are applied, some imaging tools are ran to clean up any messy images, bringing us to the end results.
here are some examples of with it looks like compared to the original:

Screenshots
(screenshots are from 1.2.4.1, i'll make more up-to-date screenshots when the texture pack feature is fully implemented)

Disclaimers
  • i do not own this pack, it's merely a fan continuation. if requested by @NanoPi or any of the mods, it will be taken down.
  • i have not extensively tested this pack, as it was made with scripts/batch files. i've only seen and fixed one tile, so there may or may not be graphical errors.
  • if anyone wants to continue these packs in my absence, they are welcome to do so.(unless that would be against any rules of course)
Known Issues/Errors
  • wires on most if not all versions have pixels missing from the edges.
  • the player sprite won't accept custom textures, not a bug with the texture pack, but the feature it's self.
please post about any errors you find, it'd be much appreciated.

Downloads

the PNG version is meant to be used with the experimental texture pack feature from 1.3.4.2+ and as such all of the PNG zip files have their name preemptively changed to "Texture Pack" for convenience. i'm willing to change it if this causes any inconvenience.
if you are not sure what that is, see this thread for more information: Experimental Features - Texture Pack Support and World Seeds!

The xbrz version link is not working, just letting you know `
Ops! i moved something around in dropbox by accident, should work now.

Thats the error i get...
i'm not really sure how to replicate this, if you followed the instructions from this thread, it should work hassle-free.
as a side note renaming them to .xnb won't help, as it's not a simple process to convert from .png to .xnb.

EDIT: thinking about it, you might have downloaded one of the old packs from the old thread. that's my bad as i didn't clarify well enough, added some text to the OP to clear any misunderstandings. try downloading one of the packs from the bottom of the the OP.

Now I'm getting this error!

My problem earlier was the Experimental mode thing.
If our still listening, the new trophys are invisible. Can you fix that and give a new download?
i can't seem to replicate either of these erorrs with any of the packs.
i will have to assume that when texture pack support is not experimental the packs will be fine as is, as i can't reproduce the erorrs above.
it would help to know which pack either of you are using for better troubleshooting.

Dá uma pricurada no youtube, "New texture pack support Terraria"

English:
By your name I think you're Brazilian, Look at the forums the new way of texture pack support that uses PNG instead of XNB. Just activate the options in terraria, search on Youtube "new texture pack terraria".
