Game Mechanics I BEG YOU! GIVE US A WAY TO MANIPULATE WHICH WAY THE EVILS GO AFTER KILLING WOF THAT DOESN'T RELY ON PRAYING TO GOD AND GOING TO WAR WITH RNGSUS!

The Grimwar

Terrarian
I have a world. A world that I've been hand crafting for months, I got both a. Sky rail, and an underground railroad that spans most of the map established, fishing cabins in almost every biome, and a teleporter network set up for the Underground Desert, Underground Jungle, Underground Ice, Underground, Underworld, Dungeon, Shimmer, a lot of those are next to resources like granite, marble, and fishing cabins.

I had everything set! It was all in place! And I was prepared to kill the WOF and enter hard mode. I even had made it so that the first night was a full moon night, and was prepared to go on a werewolf killing spree. But the V of Evil. The V of Evil is acting as if its biome spread is predetermined rather than dependent on RNG! Every time I kill the WOF, the Hallow spawns to the West, and the Corruption to the East, which was super problematic, as the Hallow overrode and devoured the Corruption biome, including the fishing cabin I made for it, which is horrible because there are so many crevices there that there's zero solid ground for unicorns or rainbow slimes. And to the East it's worse! The corruption spawns almost entirely in the Jungle, not to mention that I had basically groomed the region to be Hallowed by smashing all the Shadow Orbs in there, and cleaning a lot of it with purifying powder.

Not to mention that the Western Corruption Biome? It's actually two Corruption Biomes right next to each other!

Yet no matter how many times I erase the save file, copy it back, and redo the WOF fight, the Hallow and Corruption spawns in the exact same frickin way!

I suggest that in order to remedy this, which direction the Hallow goes and which way the other evil goes be determined by whether you kill the Wall of Flesh in the day or at night. If in night, the Hallow goes East, yearning for the Rising Sun, if at day, the Hallow goes west, chasing the sunset.

Please Re:Logic I'm begging you! I've lost count of how many times I've save scammed this and I'm at my limit!

I think its predetermined by world seed. I do however wish there was player input however.

No, it's RNG, I say this as someone who has been playing since 2017. The method I've been trying to use worked in the past, I think I just have exceptionally horrible luck.

Got super confused so checked the wiki page

I still don’t understand that much. Have you played in 2016? Or did you start in 2017 specifically?

honestly i think it'd be better if the generation was based on which side of the world the wall was spawned on

This is a amazing idea. And specifically spawned on, not defeated on, that makes the whole thing better.

I tried that method... Didn't work... I wish it worked...

Is it an idea to use TEdit to manually put your world into hardmode? This way you avoid the big V altogether.
You can then manually grow the HCC in your own specified areas. I've done this myself a few times, because I know the feeling.

We need it. My base is surrounded with corruption because of evil V.
