PS4 I can’t get souls of night

So I’ve been trying to get souls of night for some time now, I’ve killed WoF so I am in hard mode but whenever I kills enemy’s in the underground corruption it seems that none of them drop the item, any help?

You may not be far enough down. Head further down into the cavern layer of corruption and try.
