i cant farm the souls light and dark

i dont know why but i really cant farm them for like i already have 400 pixie dust yet not a single drop of soul of light is not present pls help me what do i do theres is a prossibilities that all soul may not be present tot

is present i mean mobs arent dropping any souls

Souls drop only in the underground biomes. You'll know it's underground when the music changes, and when pixies stop spawning
