Resolved I can't open Terraria

im having some trouble opening terraria in steam, for some reason the game "opens" but it shows nothing on the screen (see image). The game was working perfectly yesterday so i have no idea what is going on.

I've tried verifying local files and it says there's one missing file and it will be downloaded again, but that didn't work and re-installing the game doesn't work either.
is there something else i can do?

Try:

1. Go to you documents
2. Go to "My Games", then "Terraria"
3. Delete "config"
4. Right-click Terraria in steam and "verify integrity of game files"
