Hi There!
Im part of the Terraria speedrunning community, and together we worked to create a TAS for glitchless moonlord (techincally this is a LOTAD - low optimised tool assisted demonstration but TAS works better).
I slowed down the game a bunch using cheat engine and spliced everything together using recall potions as checkmarks.
For comparison, the fastest run is around 49 minutes by sbubby, and this uses a slightly modified route. the changes from a real human run to this is:
- full understanding of where everything is in the seed, yet this is still a natural seed. no modification are made to the world file
- slowing down the game at 0.5x speed and 0.25x speed.
- splitting segments into replayable chunks to optimise it
- reforging is controlled after the golem split.
- added a timer to the HUD
- Max luck is given at all times
no other RNG manipulation is used.
This took a hell of a lot of time and theory crafting, so feel free to ask questions on why things are done! there is still a couple optimisations that could be made i we were to do this again. Also, i heavily encourage you to join the terraria speedrun community and try some runs, they are more fun than you may think!

(oh and yes this is a cheated run. TAS stands for tool assisted speedrun. in this case my tool was cheat engine to slow down my game. please dont comment that "this is fake" because its clearly a real, but cheated, run. despite this, all luck is reproducible in a real game, and we might even see a completion as fast as this with new routes, high luck, and insane skill.)
