I need help with the corruption spread !!

Hey guys! I am kinda new to Terraria ( 30 hours gameplay ) and i just entered in hardmode.I've heard about that corruption spreading and hallow spreading.What i am doing right now is i am crafting holy water and spreading hallow all over the surface(i am leaving a little of corruption on some places and its seems to work, anyway my question is...What can i do right now with that corruption spread, and also what can i do to save the my jungle? (This is my first world so yeah) Thanks!

Well, I would use the Clentaminator is a good item for this. (More Info if you click on that) That's usually what I use to cleanse the corruption/crimson.
