I'm interested! I don't know if is actually still open but do you mind modded characters with art references? I'll also include screenshots and image references. I'll submit my calamity melee character in auric tesla armour, their helmet looks more like the bust shot.

As for the background I'll go with the tundra biome with them holding the ark of the cosmos sword from Calamity. I can go with a vanilla character if you want though
