Tool Idea for mod

What if you created armor or any other item you could unmake the armor or the items. You would get like 3/4 or 1/2 of the items back. If you had this it would allow you to unmake armor or items that are no longer need.

That is actually an interesting idea, and doable. The only problem would be if the item has variant of materials. Like for example, if an item uses any type of wood, there is no way of knowing what kind of wood were used to make that item, unless the mod logs it on the item.

I have now made a test mod for this. It's called "Lan's uncraft items" in the tmodloader's mod browser, feel free to try it out
