The Destroyer
I’d personally consider these 4 mini bosses, which are still technically bosses.
- Sand Elemental (Sandstrom Event).
- Ice Golem (Blizzard Event).
- Dreadnautilus (Blood Moon Event).
- Mothron (Solar Eclipse Event).

I don't disagree, but the line keeps getting blurrier, because then how would you rank:I’d personally consider these 4 mini bosses, which are still technically bosses.
800 health compared to the earlier four who Are in the thousands, evil clown is a bit tankier than the average enemy but isn’t powerful enough to be a mini bossEvil Clown (Blood Moon Event).
Its not something you are intended to kill during a normal play through, so I’m going to say its more of an Easter egg, but that in itself is up to interpretation.Dungeon Guardian (progression barrier).
Has a more basic AI compared to golem, elemental, dread, and mothron, as each of these four do something other than just ramming at you, even mothron has the egg laying attack.Wyvern (Space Biome)
Biome mimics... are tricky. They could be seen either way, as while they do have unique attack patterns, one could also say that every single one of the biome mimics attacks are just variants of jumping around.Biome Mimics (World Evil/ Hallow)
Anything that appears on the Tally Counter when you damage it has a banner. So all those enemies you mentioned aren’t bosses, because they appear on the Tally Counter and don’t have boss health bars.My only personal answer has always been, so long as the Enemy has a banner, it's not a Boss... but I haven't killed enough of some of these opponents to know if they actually do or not.
So... do you consider yourself a Boss or not Dready-naughty??Anything that appears on the Tally Counter when you damage it has a banner. So all those enemies you mentioned aren’t bosses, because they appear on the Tally Counter and don’t have boss health bars.
Ice Golem and Sand elemental have banners, and yet They don’t seem to be any different from the other mini bosses. They spawn during an event, (Sand storm and blizzard), They have more than one attack, they are much bulkier than the average enemy at that point of the game. If we could identify why they are considered separate beings it could really help.Anything that appears on the Tally Counter when you damage it has a banner. Technically I’m not one but I should be one. All I need are Expert and Master exclusive drops.So... do you consider yourself a Boss or not Dready-naughty??![]()
Why should the hallow get another boss if it already has two, is what I wonder. And we have our first person wanting another boss for the hallow. Truly one of the Hallows most dedicatedcultistsfans.

"Wasteland would like to know your location."I'd say a meat-eating scorpion that is around the size of the king slime.
I totally forgot about that boss."Wasteland would like to know your location."
Scarabeus is also another really well done Desert boss that isn't a worm or bird.I totally forgot about that boss.
I feel like making a Queen Antlion boss would be more fitting. It would parallel Queen Bee, but could operate closer to how the antlion chargers do instead of being a straight ripoff. Maybe shoot out antlion larva? Making the boss an antlion would fit with the theme of the Underground Desert, and the desert during Sandstorms.I'd like to see a desert boss.
The desert in Terraria is so well done. Other than the jungle, it is one of the only biomes in Terraria that shows an apparent ecosystem and a dominating species. However, a desert boss could serve as the cherry on top. It could serve as the big baddie of the desert, the top of the food chain, the forbidden apex predator. I'd say a meat-eating scorpion that is around the size of the king slime. It will claw at you, it will roll at you, and it won't give up until it draws its final breath. I'm not ever going to consider a bird type or worm type boss in the desert because both ideas are overdone and abused to oblivion.
There are other biomes that lack bosses, such as the glowing mushroom biome and the tundra/taiga, but I'm not going to write a whole chapter of boss ideas and make other ideas obsolete.
Imagine a marble boss thoughIf you could choose any biome to add a boss to, which one would you add a boss to? This is including mini biomes such as spider caves and marble/granite, and I would like to see what biome everyone thinks needs a boss.
