If you could combine two weapons at once

Harpoon + Illegal Gun Parts + 25 Iron Bars = Sprengstoff Kette
Ammo: Chain(x3) + Grenade/Bomb/Dynamite(x1).
Weapon type: Ranged, Semi-auto.

A weapon that fires chains rigged with explosives into the air, Affected by gravity at a lesser rate than the Harpoon. Explosives detonate five seconds after disconnecting from the rifle. If the chain collides with an enemy in the air, They will wrap around them and drag them to the ground. Holding down the left mouse button affects the length of the chain. The gun consumes chain(x3)/Explosive(x1) per chain segment, With a maximum of 10 chain segments on a single chain. (30 brick width) The grade of the explosives affects the damage dealt by the explosion, Dynamite can destroy blocks, However it's possible to disable this.

Basically imagine the Harpoon, Except that the entire chain is the damage source, ANd rather than retracting back to the player it disconnects from the Harpoon and explodes. :happy:

Hmm... Solar Eruption + Razorblade Typhoon.

Change the water wheels to fire wheels that spring out from the tip of the Solar Eruption that home in and pierce 2-3 times per disc, and each "swing" of the Eruption releases 3 such wheels of flame.

EDIT: Yes, yes, I know this would be OP as all crap and that's the sheer point of this.

You could also duct-tape 6 Sniper Rifles onto the Chain Gun's barrels.

Medusa Head + Water Bolt, Using the weapon petrifies all targets on screen, And then sends a bolt towards the first target at random. The bolt travels from one target to the next in a random fashion, The bolt expires once all petrified enemies have been targeted once, Or twenty seconds pass. The bolt has unlimited pierce and can phase through bricks.

Weapons can be changed while the bolt is active, However you can not fire this magic weapon again while the bolt is active. The bolt damages all enemies every time it passes over them, However only petrified enemies can be targeted and it will only target them once per cast. Hitting an enemy thrice will break their petrification status. (If they were targeted at the time this status breaks, The bolt will continue to target them. However if they weren't targeted when this status break they're effectively removed from the queue.)
 
Bunny Cannon + Laser Machine Gun.

Shoots laser bunnies at extremely high speeds, but uses mana. The bunnies do 500 damage and can phase through walls. They will also explode upon contact, dealing damage within a 5 block radius.
 
I remember that I was looking back at this thread a few weeks ago and thought about these times.
