Casual if you could only play one video game, what would it be?

Probably super smash bro

Definitely Fire Emblem: Awakening.

I’ve never played any fire emblem games before

You definitely should, they are soooooo bloody mother:red:ing epic, and some of the best Nintendo-made games ever. It’s my favorite Nintendo video game franchise.

They're pretty good, I've played a few, but I don't really get the hype over them. I guess if you're obsessed with anime it could help, idk.

A roguelite/roguelike that I haven't played very much of nor beaten yet.

Either Terraria or Roblox

Roblox. It has so much variety, and plus, there's a bunch of knock-off versions of other games there.

oh wait i can't say GTA because it and Ark are the only other games i play

i still stand with my choice for Juno: New Origins, but recently, however, some could challenge that position:
  1. F-Zero GX
  2. BeamNG.drive
  3. Automation: The Car Company Tycoon Game

Damn, I guess I cant say Diablo III or Persona 5 Royale then as its 16+, probably MineCraft, Worms Armageddon, Crash Bandicoot II: Cortex Strikes Back, I guess. *shrugs*

Maybe Rec Room? There’s unlimited stuff to play and make, and there are so many awesome people on there!
Edit: they’re all racist that’s the joke but it wasn’t obvious

Oh, I just rememebred from my friend's avatar (^), Miitopia, great game Ive completed it save the Tower Of Dread which I had almost beaten, and the Tower Of Despair which im too scared to even try given theres a Red Fiend there whose worse than the Fiend and Terrr Fiend and the new true final boss, the Boss Snorp is a real :red:, Ive heard.

Silksong because I can brag about being able to play it while no one else can

Also I love HK

starlink battle for atlas, never truly took off and was abandoned a year after release but i will probably keep replaying it for the rest of my life
but if we counted entire franchises as one valid choice then probably monster hunter

geometry dash

hear me out, geometry dash is considered a video game, which makes it viable to pick, but its kind of a game engine
some people go out of their way to make entirely different games in gd, which is why im picking it, because since its technically a game engine, it is most games in 1

Depends on how you qualify a game. Basically every Source Engine title is modularly built off of Half-Life 2's core components, and Portal for example even uses a lot of the same assets. If you look in the Steam folder directory, Half-Life: Source even branches off of HL2's own file structure. This could get very pedantic, and the line becomes blurry fast if you look at something like Garry's Mod which is its own distinct game on Steam despite being a Half-Life 2 mod and titling itself as such. But in short, Half-Life 2 is necessarily my answer since all of my favorite games are built off it and even if you disqualify Valve's other titles stemming from it, it still has an extremely lively and diverse modding scene.

I actually think many people have exaggerated how true that is. Portal 1 is heavily built off Half-Life 2, and so is G-Mod (obviously), but if I remember correctly basically all the other games aren’t build of Half-Life 2 the same way Portal is.

Half-Life 2 is still a good choice though. I might personally go with that as well, just because you can do literally anything in G-Mod (if that is included with this) and Half-Life 2 is a great game as well. But would you consider episodes 1 and 2 to count as part of one game?
