Im having trouble getting through the crimson biome right next to my house's biome

Can you help me? Since i'm in expert mode and i'm not getting good materials. Those monsters have been blocking me from going past the biome, and I cant travel much farther.

AND WHY IS THE CRIMSON BIOME RIGHT NEXT TO MY HOUSE'S BIOME?!?

I'm not seeing the point of your suggestion, but you can always try to not go through the Crimson and instead go underground/the other side for potential loot.

If all is lost try make an artificial hole to try find a cave system or as Yello said go the other way
