Why nobody tell me that the horse shoe balloon and frost/lightning boots are basically useless when you get wings and a mount..

Horseshoe Balloon falls off, but Lightning Boots are still a valid accessory for casual play if you do not wish to increase your collision hitbox with a mount while indoors or deal with having to hover everywhere with a Hoverboard (or many alternatives) for speed.
They also increase the flight time of your wings by a little bit from what I can remember since their flight time is added to your wings, so don't worry too much about it.

I never leave my house without my Frostspark boots. There are too many cons to most mounts.
I'd even say the horseshoe balloons remain useful in certain situations. I love to use mine during the Duke Fishron fight, because you take off faster with them.
Anyway, there are many accessories that are basically useless to some, and useful to others. Everyone has a different play style. If an accessory doesn't work out for you, find another!
