Sometimes when I launch Terraria, the in-game achievements keep on resetting. This seems to be random, as it doesn't happen every time I reset the game, but it does happen often enough to be an annoyance.
This started happening when 1.4 came out. I originally deleted my old achievements file to prepare for a new 1.4 character, but it just seems to reset all the time now.
I've tried changing the properties of the 105600 folder (within the userdata steam folder) to not be a read-only folder, but that doesn't seem to resolve it.
Is this a bug with the game, or am I doing something wrong?
Specs: i7 8700k @4.7GHz , 2080ti black edition, stock clocks, 16gb 3000mhz ddr4, 1tb nvme ssd, Windows 10 Pro 1909
