Mobile IOS/Android play

Hello, I Have been having a problem lately playing terraria with my brother. I have a Samsung galaxy tab 4, While he has an IPhone XS. we’ve been trying to play together but it isn’t working. We are on the same Network/WiFi, and multiplayer version. I just can’t find out why we can’t play. All help is welcome!

My brother and I are having the same problem. We are both on ios 12.3.1 and terraria mobile version 12.785. We used to ply together just fine, but now it won’t let us play on the same server. We tried all combinations of iphones 6s,7,8,XR and ipad 2. All them met the requirements listed already. We want to play but cannot until this is fixed. Please solve this issue.
