Texture Pack is it possible to make a non-glowing texture glow using a resource pack?

I have this resource pack I'd like to edit (credit to Voxlity on Steam for the textures!), and I would like to make the magma glow. I know that there are glow textures for things like lunar armor, but is it possible to make new glow textures that don't exist in the base game?

Not unless you edit a texture that already has a glow file to go along with it (you can, then, edit the glow file too, to make it accurate)
