Is Minecraft Steve or the Terraria Player stronger? I have the answer.

Well, let's see.

A block is 2ft^3. So, we can then compare the size of a coin to the size of a block.

View attachment 11605

Wow. Coins are pretty big.

If a block is 8 "pixels" (terrarian pixels are actually 2x2) across and is 2 feet wide, and a coin is 7 pixels across, then a coin is 1.75 feet wide. Coins are 8 pixels tall, so they are 2 feet tall. Those are some REALLY big coins.

For our purposes, we'll assume terrarian coins have the same length:thickness ratio as an American Quarter Dollar. This makes a terrarian coin 0.068435754189944 feet thick.

Doing some math to find the volume of the coin, and we find it has a volume of 0.153980446927374ft^3. This is 4360.2407cm^3.

Now, we use the density of copper, 8.933 grams per cubic centimeter, to find just how much a terrarian copper coin weighs.

It's 38950.0301731 grams. That's a pretty heavy coin.

Now, there are 1,000,000 copper coins in a platinum coin, which stack up to 999. The player has 59 inventory slots, including the main inventory (50), coins (4), ammo (4), and trash (1). Coins can fit into all of these. We'll add one more slot, putting it up to 60, since a player can have an item held by their cursor, as well as a full inventory.

So, let's do the math.

1,000,000 (number of copper coins in a platinum coin) x 999 (number of platinum coins per stack) x 60 (number of stacks of 999 platinum coins the player can hold) x 38950.0301731 (weight of a single terrarian copper coin) gives us the mass of all those coins to be...

2,334,664,808,575,614 grams! That's a lot of mass!

Unfortunately, that makes The Player significantly weaker than Steve, who can lift

*ahem*

Kilograms.

And that's just a single block. Multiply that by 64 (max stack size) and inventory size (27 slots + 9 hotbar slots + 4 inventory crafting slots + one cursor carry, so 41 slots total), and add the mass of a full set of golden armor (51,520 KG), and you get...

Conclusion? The Player needs to hit the gym if he wants to get even close to Steve's level.
Well isn't weapons and armor also conclude to who is overall stronger. For instance:(BEAR IN MIND I WILL BE LEAVING ENCHANTMENTS AND, FIXES AND PREFIXES OUT BECAUSE OF THEIR UNPREDICTABILITY AND FOR AN EVEN MATCH)

MINECRAFT:

From my memory, A diamond sword is about 7 damage per swing. And with full diamond armor you loose about 1-4 hearts per hit Not to mention, The diamond armor and all other armors in Minecraft wither away and get destroyed. As for the bow, I think is has about 4 hearts to take on a normal hit. With the diamond armor I am guessing about half a heart. Not to mention the absolutely massive amount of potion arrow types (which I'll call "dips") That the player can hold. Like the Decaying dip, which withers away health, instant damage, poison and other dips can change the tide of battle. Of course, The bow only has a certain amount of range. It also has fair share of potions which will allow to traverse the land easier and even have potions that inflict harm to his opponents. And if you count redstone, The player is able to create many death traps that can kill his opponents with ease. But this of course, takes time. And redstone can be easily destroyed by water, lava and anyone who can just break it with their hands.

IN TERRARIA'S DEFENSE:

The wooden sword, which is the weakest, brings up damage of 8 per swing. This clearly shows that any weapon the Terraria character uses will dupe the melee weapons for Steve. But since we are making this a fair test, I will bring up the strongest armor and weapons for our terrarian champion. Meowmere, with a base damage of 200, is the strongest weapon in terraria and dupes the 7 damage per swing the Diamond sword has. The solar flare armor topples the Diamond armor's resistance with 78 total defense. This makes it clear that Minecraft weapons have nearly no effect on the player. Unlike Minecraft, Terraria armors can't wither away, making it much more safer and reliable in battle. And for the armor's next trick, With a full set of the same type of armor you gain a set bonus. This includes: Speed, strength, resistance, velocity, ammo consumption and even higher perks like temporary immunity, dashing and additional minions. For bows, weapons like the Tsunami and Phantasm have damage levels around 50-60. With the tsunami firing 5 arrows at a time whilst consuming 1 arrow. Making it an effective weapon. As for arrows, there are varieties ranging from hellfire, flaming, ice, normal and Jester. As for potions: Many help to avoid damage and traverse land, too. Like the obsidian skin potion, which makes you immune to lava for 8 mins, And the gravitational potion, which can essentially make you able to dodge anything if used correctly. And as for wires, There are three forms of wires meaning many types of combinations with wires. And many, MANY traps and tools to destroy the enemy. And unlike redstone, It is easily bought with money and can only be destroyed via the switch or what is causing the activation or wire cutters. Which Steve cannot use due to him not being terrarian.

TERRARIA'S TRUMP CARDS:

Guns. Lots of guns. Bullets come in many forms and can even follow their enemy with Chlorophyte bullets. The most powerful gun, the coin gun, rapidly fires deadly damage coins, making it the most powerful gun. And since coins are one of the most accessible things in the game, and that what you kill can drop extra coins, there's a chance you can get infinite ammo! Health expansions and life fruit help to maintain life better than anything, Minions are used to pretty much non stop attack your opponents without either raising a finger. The substantial use of mana stars and magic weapons are just too much to talk about.

CONCLUSION:

Terraria's better everything means Steve will have to get used to being spawn camped after dying from being within a cm away from the sword

If we all are being honest The Player would pull out me(look at picture) and would destroy steve one shot and steve wouldn't have enough time to say "FIGHT!" plus The player can destroy basically anything for that matter. Ender Dragon 2 shot. Wither 1 Shot. Elder Guardian 1/2 shot

Reminder to 2/3 of the people on the thread: Terraria guy has better gear. We get it. We are refering to actual strength.

… Don't judge me. But in that sentence Yeah steve is stronger but... The player has more fun things to do then fight a fish, dragon, and pig, The player can fight all of those combined

You can step it up a level since you can have CHESTS IN CHESTS! (With a certain command in Minecraft) There is a limit though, but Steve can hold WAY more with this
(If you ask yourself what I'm talking about it's the NBT thing, look it up, it's real)

If you put a piggy bank in a piggy bank, the piggy bank has a piggy bank in it, and that one with a piggy, and that one with a piggy, until you are holding infinite mass. A pretty similar and command free situation, no?

The only problem with that is that BOTH piggy banks contain the same stuff ...

Can please take a moment to realize that The Player can handle the mass of a star ( solar flare armor AND weapons ) while Steve is unable to handle a little fire. XD

If you put a safe inside of a safe, it creates an object of infinite mass, and therefore infinite weight. It doesn't matter if you have more than one, because that just means that the weight is synchronized across all of the safes you are carrying, meaning that the Terrarian can actually carry 5049 objects of infinite mass theoretically (99*40 for inventory slots+99*10 for hotbar+99 for cursor), and that's not even considering how many safes you could have within the safes (which makes it a fractal tree, just considering the first two layers if you completely fill your safe with stacks of safes causes it to become 19,994,040 objects with infinite mass). There is no way Steve can hope to match this, exemplified in the fact that you physically cannot place ender chests inside of each other.

Although, you can't have more than infinity, so the point is gotten across just by placing a safe within a safe. And using commands goes against the physical constraints of Minecraft anyway, so they can't really be considered valid.

The Terrarian isn't even a mere mortal like Steve is, think about it. He doesn't even need to eat to stay alive, he can be lit on fire and shrug it off like nothing, without any impairment of his vision and losing a single heart from it at most. He also has mana, and I'm fairly certain Steve doesn't even know what that is or what it does. Also, the Terrarian can still hold the life force of his enemies in the physical realm after he's already killed them, then consume it and recover health. Plus, do I even need to remind you that the Terrarian can accurately hit things and also SEE things through walls? And also, how much more powerful his potions are?

Well Minecraft does have Ender chests which do the same thing... but safes are heavier. (I know infinity times anything is still the same but just go with it.)
