is there a limit to how many piggy banks/safes/defenders forges/void vaults can be stored inside each other?

im doing a small project that relates to how strong the terrarian actually is. my question now is, is there a hardcoded limit as to how many personal storage items can be stored inside of each other? e.g a named binary tag depth limit, or integer overflow?

Well you couldn’t fit more than 160, there are only 4 personal storage items with 40 slots each. Piggy bank stacks to 99 so I suppose that’s 158 stack of 99 and 2 stacks of 1, which is 15,644.

Technically, no personal storage item can be stored in another personal storage item because such an item is simply a key to accessing the storage rather than the wrapper, meaning that anything you store in a safe or piggy bank is not actually in said item, so an empty safe in your inventory weighs just as much as a full one.
