Note: Originally I only noticed this issue with Bee Hives but I rewrote the whole thing after I noticed this affects Antlion Eggs too.
You can place Bee Hives and Antlion Eggs in the space occupied by existing ones, causing them to break. In the case of Bee Hives, the newly placed one falls to the ground alongside the existing ones, in the case of Antlion Eggs, only the existing ones break.
The real issue here seems to be that can place any block in the same space as those two objects (not just another Bee Hive/Antlion Egg) but this becomes an annoyance when trying to place either of those in the world for decoration or whatever purpose, since if you hold click you'll start placing them on top of each other, breaking the ones you've already placed and causing enemies to spawn. If you need to spawn a million bees/antlions, you can already shoot a flare and place the Hive/Egg on top of it, causing it to break instantly.
I thought this would be an issue when placing Cactus too, since they break and start rolling if you do as little as just sneeze on them, but you can't place blocks in the space occupied by a placed Cactus.
