My contest submission: The Hazmat Set
Comprises of the Hazmat Helmet, Hazmat Suit, and Hazmat Boots.
We're all cooped up inside the house, and I made a set that would enable us to safely venture out into the world.
This set will still have a place in the game when this pandemic is all over, since there are slimes and king slime, toxic sludge, and poisoned and venom debuffs.
This set was created by me in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

This is my Entry for the Vanity contest. I'm not used to drawing pixel art, but I did my best. This is based on Eli (D&D version) a character of mine seen in the second picture. He's a druid. I'd call them 'Buggy' items. (Buggy Headdress, Buggy Tunic, Buggy skirt) This is because Buggy is his nickname.
(I'm so excited. the thirteenth was the day I was supposed to be born and the 17th is my birthday so this feels like fate lol.)

THE SHARK VANITY COSTUME
Terraria is probably my favorite video game of all time. However, with every amazing game, there are always some negatives. For Terraria's case, as I was playing I noticed there was a severe lack of SHARK VANITY SETS. That is why for my entry in the Journey's End Vanity Contest, I suggest Re-Logic correct their horrendous mistake and add in a Shark Vanity costume.
Now, I don't know how Re-Logic wants these vanity sets to drop, however, if possible it would be nice to have the Shark Vanity set drop from, well sharks. But that is just a suggestion and it definitely is not necessary and is ultimately up to Re-Logic how they want you to obtain the vanity set. However, it would be quite cool to have the Shark Vanity set drop from sharks.
Thanks so much to everyone at the Re-Logic team for all the hard work and effort! Even if the Shark Vanity set doesn't make it in, I still will not be able to wait for Terraria: Journey's End. (although you will have to pay for your sins later on. I'm watching you Re-Logic. I'm watching you...)

This was the uniform of an officer that felt in combat during an investigation, mysteriously disappeared, some people say it was the assassin other doesn't believe it:

Description: Perfect for trips or doing your work!!
Creation: 1 Black dye, 1 gold ingot and 20 silk
Additional things: The brown part it's the hair so the color of it can change depending the hair color do you have and the hair will be reduced to this whatever hairstyle you use
Uniform Jacket:
Description: Don't burn it you will not find another jacket like this
Creation: 1 black dye, 1 green dye, 1 gold ingot and 20 silk
Additional things: The both sides are the same so that is why I posted a right side of the outfit
Fully equipped boots:
Description: They can resist every terrain you go!! (lava and high falls sold separately)
Creation: 1 black dye, 1 silver dye, 2 gold ingots, 15 silk and 2 leather
Additional things: If this is accepted the boots will be the third thing that you can do with leather!!

Well, I did say I'd post something and I'm doing that so I'm not a liar. Nevermind that I said it on the first day and posted in the last hour
Simply put, I think Terraria can benefit from a somewhat simple, but still stylish long coat or jacket that extends over the leg slot, as the rain coat is simply not that and the obsidian set doesn't quite cut it. Perhaps mysterious, perhaps adventurous, perhaps even a little edgy. Regardless of intent, I think it's a simple niche that has yet to be filled as far as vanity goes so far

Here is my submission vanity called "Getsu" which originates from the japanese word "Getsurō" meaning lunar wolf. The clothing gives the player human-wolf like hybrid appearance (mostly human) and has a glow effect (or glow mask) that is only present in a full moon or blood moon.
During a full moon, the clothes that the player is wearing will start to shine white. If it's a Blood moon it'll glow red, replacing white with red.

Took me a bit to submit this, but here is my entry for the vanity contest!
I could not think of a particularly good name for this set. Sorry about that!
It's essentially a set that has been fitted with a light that changes its color, depending on what biome the player is in. The light will sort of swell through different shades of the color it has.
Examples include:
Pure surface/underground -> Green (shown below)
Surface/Underground Jungle -> Turquoise/some green
Pure Cavern -> Dark Green
Space -> Dark Blue/Blue-purple
Surface/Underground Corruption -> Purple
Desert -> Yellow/Orange
Ocean -> Blue/Yellow
Dungeon -> Grayish
Jungle Temple -> Rusty Red-Brown/some green
And so on.
[Note: I think this would look better if the colors would sort of slowly swell between the shades of the color instead of linearly scroll through them like it's shown here, but this is the best I can do with what I have!]
If there is an active invasion/event (such as the Pumpkin Moon or Martian Madness), or if a boss is active in the world, the light will pulse a bright red (regardless of event/boss) to indicate that something is going on.
The light itself glows in the dark, regardless of color. However, it does not provide any actual light for the player.
I've seen some very amazing submissions here, so I wish everyone the best of luck in having their set chosen! No matter what happens, I'll be ready for Jouney's End!

Here is my submission, the Terrarian Legacy set 
Mannaquin, Womennaquin and outfit as seperate items
I chose inspirations based off of adventure, treasure hunting and/or archaeology, and the costume design inspiration was based mostly off of Indiana Jones' outfit from the movies.
I wanted something that went together with the Terra Blade and the Terrarian, using similar and contrasting colors to complement the items.
I was thinking this set should be an endgame vanity set paired with the MoonLord, it could be a rare item drop that can be found in the Lihzahrd Temple by the Flying Snakes, or it could be an item drop for the new mode/enemies/bosses?
All in all, I had fun making this set. its my first time ever making any sort of pixel art (the armor) and even my first contest submission ever too. I hope everyone had as much fun and may the best three win.

Here is my design! It would be cool if the gems could emit some kind of light as it would be useful while mining. This vanity could be crafted with gemstones and the colour varies depending on which gemstone is used.
Head: Nebula Crown
Torso: Nebula Chestplate
Leg: Nebula Greaves
Cape: Nebula Cape
The outside of the cape is dark blue but the inside has a nebula/star pattern. The Nebula Crown would not cover the hair completely but would remove any frontal hair, such as bangs. Ponytails etc are kept.
The model is holding a death sickle, it's not part of the outfit, I just thought it looked cool
