Here's a set for a character species I've been working on, called the Shadefolk Set. It consists of:
- A head vanity item (a mask that overlays a black shadowy hue on the player's skin, and simple white strips for eyes)
- A chest item (a fancy robe, with the player's hands shadow-masked)
- A legs item (an extension of the robe, with the player's legs and feet shadow-masked)

HEAD, is based of my original character but with the new added ears
TORSO, looks like an Egyptian chest piece but with a jacket inside, and inside the jacket is a shirt
LEGS, looks like athlete training uniform with the socks that cover the entire legs, and shorts
NOTE. this design is intended to look mechanical, like a teenage cyborg.

Opinion: It took me a little while to make but I think it could have some improvement. (I was thinking it could be in the crimson biome.)

Hi, my name is Lucas and I am currently 16, I just finished creating this set which I have been working on (until 4 am in the morning). I have used different programs including: Illustrator, clip studio and Pixelart.com. The first thing I did was to draw a "mind map" of what armor/vanity sets I think could be useful and fun to be included in the game. Then i started to sketch my ideas. In the beginning I thought about making a glowing mushroom set, having the mushroom hat glow or release spores but once i got this Beduin idea in my mind, every other ideas were put aside.
There are already some dessert armors and vanity items in the game, like the ancient set , Pharaoh set, the Forbidden Armour etc, though all of them are late game items (except Pharaohs set, which serves no use at all). I think this is great idea because desserts (sandstorms) can be very dangerous in the early game (after hardmode as well) but with this set you are now be able to cross sandstorms which I believe would not only become great feature in the game but but also become something you want to achieve as soon as possible when creating a new world . The crafting material should mainly consist out of tattered cloth which ads another great use for farming goblin scouts early on and for the material it self. It would also be possible to create a snow biome themed set against the blizzard or having a similar NPC which can sell these clothes (just an idea). As mentioned it is suppose to have this "crossing dessert" ability, it could act similar to djiins curse (vanity item with an effect) but it can also work without, just as any vanity item. This was the first time i made pixel art though it turned out OK, nothing too fancy . Note: the glasses/sun and sand protectors and the shawl is suppose to be the same piece (head). Hope you like it!!

Sorry i'm not too good at art

but in general i feel this outfit is simple and a nice idea to be put in game

it's kind of your typical stereotypical hawaiian tourist clothing

you got you're straw hat, a floral hawaiian shirt, which could be dyed all kinds of colors and go with most outfits

and a nice pair of shorts, complete with brown belt and yellow belt buckle with shoes

in general i feel this outfit and it's pieces could not only go well with tons of in game outfit pieces but look good on a player using the new sitting mechanic at the ocean/beach biome living there as a nice fisher


a calm and casual relaxing outfit for when you're feeling lazy

i don't know i kinda like the idea, sorry my art skills are pretty bad but i think i gave a nice little general idea/description to give you the idea i was thinking of in your head combined with the crude art

"The King in glory!, with his powerful Darksteel Alloy Armor, strengthened with power of Pinatatite Crystals and the rare and only Mega Crystal in the middle securing all the armor together, He builds a Portal with a strange ore called luminite, from what the universal scanner reads, The portal opens with a bright blue aura, The King with no fears decides to jump into the portal...
(Wins and included into game): The King wakes up in a strange land, slimes, zombies, skeletons, and a giant flying eye of a large creature, The King confused and weary of his surroundings realizes, he has entered the world, of Terraria, and fights to make all of Terraria better.
(Lost and not included): The portal throws him out, the luminite disappears and The King back in his lab scratching his head confused. (creator's note): If The Terraria Team sees this I hope for the best in my submission and hope this gets added into the game, its always been a life goal for my creativity gets implemented in a game for many to see and enjoy."

Moon Watchman

this is a set to represent a creature created by me called "Moon Watchman".This creature was once a man, an adventurer, that tried to defeat Moon Lord but failed and then cursed as a way of punishment. This is a creature that is cursed to arise during the night and vanish during the day until the moon falls from the sky and completely shatters (after Moon Lord is Defeated).

On it's Head there is a crown with an eye that is closed at day, but open at night, looking at the moon.

On it's Torso there are the moon phases on the "mouth" and on the chest there is an eye between a crescent moon and the sun, which is the symbol of the Moon Watchman

On it's Legs it's the eyes and wings and mouth of the creature to make it a little bit more creepy
