I know it looks pretty bad but, hey I tried my best.
I call it the Drusillans Outfit, it's a word i made up for a story I might one day tell.
As you can see I had trouble with the hat like a lot of it, because i have never done pixel art before, and the drawn art also looks bad.
The Outfit is supposed to give off a bit of a magical feel, which is why i chose purple as the dominant color, the yellow crest is also there to try and help with the magical feel.
Oh, and the hair is just one of terrarias default hairs so, no need to pay attention to the hair, I was going to put the hat on their head but that did not work out very well since i don't know how to do pixel art at all.
The picture i drew is just the clothes because I don't yet know how to draw people.

The final adventure. -submission-
This is my submission as this is the journeys end i have created my own sprite which as you can see is an adventurer and the backstory is that he has come back from his final adventure, his journeys end. he has many "trophies" from his journeys such as an arrow in his hat and a backpack full of sweet loot. e.g. a golf club which is hanging out the back. (i know its hard to tell) and even a stray leaf which resides and his hat which shows the trecherous terrain this character has journeyed through, and finally a bracelet looted from the depths of who knows where? by now you may have noticed the green strip around his chest? well my idea for this would be that this vanity set cauld be obtained before any bosses but as a rare drop maybe. My reasoning? because my idea is for each boss that has been slain a colour would appear onto the band/strip and would signify another part of a person's journey complete! defeating all bosses would reward the player with a beautiful vanity set and it would give people something to work towards in the long run and im sure it would be satisfying completing it, its all in the fun! A few things to add: the vanity set would not give and vanity hairstyle unless you wanted it too so that people can still glimpse their hair through the hat. It would not change the player skin colour but im sure it wouldve been like that anyway, and finally, how it would be separated. -the aroow and leaf would be tied to the hat, the band and bag full of goodies would be tied to the chestpiece and the boot would just be the boots(i feel they need something but i dont know what, maybe a splash of mud?) oooooook so did i make a bootleg leinfors outfit... maybe
i have the item sprites and my vanity full body. i used star bound for the outfit because i'm to lazy to remake all parts (i deleted them months ago OK) the item sprites are poorly re skins of leinfors outfit. if i do win by some miracle please make it look presentable. whelp this is my vanity set

I can't draw at all, so I'm providing a picture of the character as a reference:
This is the main character of Kid Chameleon, the old Sega game. The game revolves around being able to transform to combat certain enemies and/or get through obstacles, and I think that idea may work in Terraria. An offshoot of this I thought about is the ability to take on an enemy's ability after defeating said enemy, such as being able to spawn friendly Servants of Cthulu after defeating the Eye of Cthulu or shoot laser beams after defeating one of the mechanical bosses. Some kind of mimic ability, in short. And wearing this character's outfit would make the option appear, though the mimic ability would change every time a boss is defeated, changing up the effect and allowing the player to experience more abilities as they get more experienced with the game.

This is my armor design. It looks bad because i'm not good at pixel art. This armor is called the Apocrusader armor. Its a wasteland inspired crusader outfit.

I Made this because i love slimes. I hope i can win so i can form a part of my favorite Game forever, it would be like having a bit of me in it haha.
anyways, i made this vanity set with watercolors and crayons, hopefully you'll like it!.
It's the friendslime set and it features some cute animated mini slimes, as well as pinky , and a rainbow band that represents the wide variety of slimes there are in the game. Thank You!.

The Plague Trader Outfit

"Holds the power of sickness within"
Dye trader type outfit with a plague doctor mask, dark with blue, gold and pink highlights, if its possible the eye should glow pink.
A dye trader that wandered to far, finding the dungeon in his path. The cultists captured him, trapping him in the dungeon for many years. He has gone insane while he was trapped down there, dying his clothes a dark black and wearing the mask of a fallen cultist. The mask has given him the power of ancient cultists.

Here is my submission:
I don't even know if this is going to be seen or not but I'd really love of the vanity set that I have drawn to be added into Terraria, the game that I have been playing since I was a child (I basically still am). But anyway here are some things that I would like included if this vanity set is added into Terraria:
- If possible I would like a description of each vanity piece added along with the armour pieces (the descriptions for each piece are down below).
- I would also like the color scheme to have shades of blue in it (as it is based around the chambered nautilus which is a deep-sea creature), but if this set is actually added into the game it's ultimately up to Re-Logic to decide.
Description for Headpiece:
Crafted and forged from only the finest materials from the deepest depths of the sea. M.H are the initials that are carved on the inside of the helmet. But what could the stand for?
Feels cold to the touch, and when the full set is equipped it sends chills down enemies spines at the sight of it.
Description for Breastplate:
The crystal in the center on the plate shines brighter than a full moon. When you look into it, it feels like the crystal is looking straight back at you, but into your soul.
Feels cold to the touch, and when the full set is equipped it sends chills down enemies spines at the sight of it.
Description for Leggings:
These mysterious leggings have the fins of the finest deep sea creatures preserved for eternity in the heel of this armour piece. Has the blood of its foes flowing through the boots.
Feels cold to the touch, and when the full set is equipped it sends chills down enemies spines at the sight of it.
Animations I would like to have along with the armour set (it would be really great to have a few animations added with the armour set):
- I would like for the orbs on the headpiece to emit light, as well as the crystal in the BreastPlate and the light orbs on the leggings.
- I would also like the two cape shaped figures that are part of the armour to flow faster or slower depending on the players speed (if they are running or walking).
I actually have no idea if I'm submitting this in the right place (as I've never submitted anything here before) but hopefully, I'm submitting in the right place and not replying to a random submission.
I just want to say thank you Re-Logic for working so hard on this game for so many years, I've had great fun playing the game by myself and with my friends. Take your time with the final update and make it the best you possibly can, hint hint (by adding my vanity into the game). Just kidding. Also, I want to thank ChippysCouch/Gaming for making a video informing me and others about this contest, otherwise, I never would have known that this contest existed. And yes Chippy if I do win this contest (which I probably won't also Chippy probably won't see this submission anyway) I give you full bragging rights to say one of your viewers had their vanity set put into the game.
Honestly, it would be an absolute honour to have my vanity set added to the game. I have enjoyed watching this game grow and playing it alongside it, experiencing the thrills of seeing the 1.3 trailer and replaying it several times of how exciting it was and then realizing that when I played the update I was actually really bad it the game and the update didn't change that. Once again thank you Re-Logic for this wonderful game.
