bruh, It was litterally a re-color of his sprite.
You should probably just admit you did a bad before things get any worse
I literally apologised in the statement for what I have caused I did not mean to plagiarise by any means so please do not reply to me saying that I should admit.

Have they said specifically how they are going to set up the voting here?
I know the first post stated
These finalists will be submitted for a community vote across all of our community platforms (TCF, Social Media, Discord, etc
so I'm assuming that I won't have to make a twitter or Discord account just to vote.

Theres a chance there will not even be a stream. The results will get out to us one way or another at some point in time tomorrow though, I think.
Thanks!

Good morning everybody! Who's ready for a basket of fried nerves and a hot steaming cup of sick for breakfast?

Where will the stream be?

I wonder what time they will announce it tomorrow?

Where is the stream held?

Where I can watch Terraria weekly stream?

though i think they mentioned something about not streaming, they might announce it differently.

It's the 17, when will you reveal the finalists? I am really hyped about this day cause I want my fabled 'bucket knight" to win

When were the vanity contest winners showed?

what timezone are the devs operating in?
I'm from Australia and don't know whether to stay up all night to try and catch the winners!

I'm assuming an American timezone, so you'd probably have to wait until late night sadly.

Going to be on TerrariaOfficial today at noon Pacific time. Looks like I may be on the hook here, so you will have to put up with my voice and novice streaming skills. :p

There will be a thread posted afterwards as well, in case you miss it. ;)

I have a feeling that post is going to make it too the finals, if they allow animation. I really like the idea of the costume having an afk animation. takes me back to the PS2 days when your character would do something funny if you didn't touch the controller for a bit. (jack and daxter comes to mind)

Animated sprites were not against the rules. @Leinfors guidance was about a single outfit requiring multiple very distinct forms. I'm sure there is some gray area in there but that was the intent.

Anybody making youtube videos covering contest entrants before the semi-finals have been announced ought to put more thought into how things like that could effect the selection process. It seems irresponsible. Either you end up throwing things out of wack, or worse, you hurt the entry you're supporting because the devs want to make sure they haven't been thrown out of wack by your coverage and therefore push too hard in the opposite direction. It's good to support your choice, but the uncertainty principle is a cruel and terrible mistress.
that said, the beaky boy's alright by me though. 👌

Actually it could effect a lot of stuff, consider this, that because of the attention it's getting, the more likely it will be chosen by Re-Logic as a finalist (not saying that it shouldn't have) due to the attention it's been given. This can also skew people to ignore other finalists and just go for the one that they most know and have had the time to know (trust me this happens). Hence it having a large possibility to effect the contest, and I mean it does have a front page reddit post and a popular youtuber backing it...

We didn't look at anything in the community in making these choices. Not likes, not videos... heck, we didn't even look at names until after the fact to append them to the semifinalists so we know who did what. We did not want this to be a popularity contest - at least in the picking of the finalists. The voting of course is a popularity contest... of the best entries.

As for campaigning for votes, no way we can stop people from that I suppose. Just making clear that none of that impacted the internal Re-Logic process.

Instructions will be shared on the stream and posted here afterwards. Attempting a method not tied to any one corner of the community - but one with at least some protections against ballot stuffing.

Good! It will be 10 pm at where I am when stream goes live. Decide you to run it six hours later and it would be deep night for me. Thanks 👍

I forgot to add sprites to my submission. I didn't create them until later.
