I've been wanting to know ever since the update (Is it possible to use weapons in drill mount, specifically laser machinegun because that's what's shown in the trailer.) If a dev could answer that would be helpful. Thx!

You can't use anything in the drill mount at all, if you want to clear off enemies while in it your only option is to use summons.

Are you sure, because I don't think they'd put it in the trailer if it doesn't exist...

I am 100% sure since I use the mount to clear land pretty often. Also something being shown in a trailer doesn't mean it won't change for the final product.

The mining mount isn't in the trailer, just checked. You saw the laser machinegun being fired while someone was riding the pigron mount

Also while the drill mount is being used, also, notice that the point in which the lasers come from stays in one area, so they must be pressing a certain key...

No it isn't possible.

I'm sure if you searched enough you could find it but it's not something that's really relevant since they seemed to fix the bug at release.
