So, yeah, the title says it all. You might actually find some of these on my account, now that I think about it. In any case, I’ll just stick these here... also, WIP
I sat alone at lunch.
Why?
Of course, no one likes to interrupt my reading.
But, there’s another reason.
One time, I had a group of friends. Real friends.
But, that day, they were sick or had a doctor’s appointment or were on vacation.
I was alone.
But, they came back, and we had fun.
Until the school bully, who never gave a crap about what the teachers said, and was known for her sharp tongue, came along.
Then, she used that tongue like a knife and chopped my relationships with my friends into bite-sized pieces.
I sat alone at lunch.

What did injustice mean to me?
It means knowing no one would help you.
They might try, but they never help.
They just fuel the inferno.
An inferno of fear, and hate, and crushed dreams.
An inferno of lost friends.
An inferno that sucks hope into its core and destroys it.
An inferno of injustice.
If you think that hope saves you, it doesn’t.
It helps you on your journey to become the best you can,
And hope is a fading light.
So brighten it, until it outshines the injustice and hate.

What does hope mean to me?
It means a child taking their first steps,
It means a bud becoming a bloom,
It means a deer bounding through a meadow,
It means life will go on.
Hope lights the way, just like the sun, moon, and all the stars.
So take the path of hope and dreams,
And make them real.

This post is for the meaning of color. Specifically, trying to describe a color in a poetic way... let’s see how this goes, shall we?
Red is a funny thing.
Maple leaves in autumn, or a mortal wound.
A rose, just beginning to bloom, or a glass of wine.
It means many things, like love, or fear, or rage.
Sometimes, it’s something in between.
Red is a funny thing.
Orange is a good color.
It reminds me of autumn, with its soft yet fiery colors.
It reminds me of pumpkins and apple pie,
And a crackling fire in the fireplace.
It means comfort and warmth, and good, happy days.
Yellow is a bright, shining color.
It’s that of the sun, and the rays it sends to Earth.
It’s that of spring, and day.
Yellow means joy and laughter and that feeling you get on a rollercoaster.
Yellow is a good color.
What is green at its core?
Sure, chlorophyll, but what does green mean?
It means a gentle wind sighing through the trees
and it means a leaf unfurling and catching the sun,
It means life. All of it, from the smallest seed, to a lion’s roar.
It means life and all it has to offer.
Blue.
It’s just about everywhere,
In the sky, and in the ocean.
But, what does it mean?
Blue is that feeling of relaxation,
Of calm.
When the water is still, and cold.
That’s what blue means.
Purple is strange.
Associated with royalty,
or magic. Magic goes better, I think.
Found in flowers
And the wings of butterflies.
There’s an ethereal quality
to the deepness of it.
Magical,
and strange.

Practice is key. My vocabulary helps me through this, but I’m still not the best poet, either.

Inferno is literally the poem that describes what eats away at my heart and soul every day I go to class
