Terraria's default hotbar switch keys are D0-D9. If you change them, for example, D2 is changed to quick heal, every time you press the quick heal key and then press the use key (default mouse 1), the hotbar will automatically switch to the second one, even if D2 is not a hotbar shortcut key. All D0-D9 will happen. I hope this bug can be fixed soon, or someone can tell me how to fix it. You can try it on your own PC. This is not a problem with my PC alone. I also tried it on my roommate's PC.

This is a known issue that we have on our radar to fix. Unfortunately there is no intermediary fix for this, it will have to be addressed in a patch.

i have made a temporary fix which is exclusive to linux, there is an application called keyd which allows you to rebind keys at the kernel level, which allows me to use any bind i wish. hope this helps
