PC King Slime not spawning during Slime Rain event [1.4.0.5]

I was playing Expert mode on the easter egg world seed (05162020) and went through the Slime Rain event. King Slime’s health bar appeared for a second, but then disappeared, along with the music.

I was near the world spawn when the bug occurred. I tried looking for him on the map, but did not find him.

I've had similar issues when I tried to spawn him in the Ocean Biome.

this happened to me aswell, when he spawned i tried to search him on the map but he wasn't anywhere.
