So what if as a noob, the king slime spawns?
So when it spawns, by default it has a ninja in it.

BUT!

If you die to the king slime, he eats you!
You will not see money on the ground where you died, either.

The king slime has stolen your money!

So the next time you see the king slime, there will be a ninja...
And the dead 'you' that he ate!
(In the same position of the ninja, basically.)
Or, if possible, the gore particles. (To make you rage at him :3)

But never fear! He drops your money that you lost when you died!
Take that, King Slime!

Ok, but only on mediumcore. Softcore would be only be half as usual.

This would be cool but probably too impractical to add, im not a coder but this seems a decent bit more difficult than what it's worth.

King slime is a rare and easy enough boss that I don't think this is necessary. Plantera kills a lot of new players, but king slime... Can't even hit you if you sit in a 2x3 ditch.
