PC Lagging in full-screen

Title, whenever I enter fullscreen mode I experience lag spikes now and again, this happens in any world/server I have tried. Thanks in advance.

specs (Processer) Intel(R) core(tm) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.40 GHz, (RAM) 16 GHz (15.58 GHz left)

Every 2-3 seconds.

Oh that's not great. Have you tried turning on frame skip? And you said that it's fine if you're not in fullscreen mode? Is that true full screen or borderless fullscreen?

I had frame skip on at the time of the lag, just realized that I meant to say borderless not fullscreen.
