Every one that keeps asking- It's pretty obvious he's said, PATIENTLY, that it's not dead. It's not dead. He just simply hasn't the time or the desire to work on it right now. This is a free service he's providing. I always wonder why people just don't update if they don't want to wait. It's what I do. I saw that he'd update eventually, I saw one other modder has decided they won't update, and another one disappeared completely. I then updated. After months. Now I'll wait patiently until he's done. I'd suggest either not updating, rolling back, or just keep this on update me and wait for the all clear.

I remember how excellent this mod was, and in all honesty? I do miss it a lot. While it is hard to wait for something exciting, I also understand the creator's view of being possibly burned out and needing a longer break then usual to begin feeling like coming back is a good idea. Passion; probably a reason they created this.. Can die down, and waiting for it to build back up is of course a long time. But here's the thing; work from passion or want is far better in quality and design then any other way.

The wait will be worth it, trust me.

And creator? Awesome mod, I look forward to the future!

Well, is he doing alright atleast? I hope it's nothing bad going on.
Nah, Sapharan posted a few weeks ago and was online here just today. Don't worry. He claims the mod is still alive, and we have to accept that.

Over the years, we all see countless times where a creator of a mod leaves mid-development without any warning, never to show up again. Like Sam correctly stated above, usually busy life just gets in the way for most, if not all of them.

Some advice:
In the introduction, you should probably focus more about what the mod has to offer, not your touching life story about how you started making this mod.
You should also include images of some stuff in the game to kind of showcase them, so that people would at least know what will this mod add to their game.

Dear Ice Cube. No offense, that is not my first rodeo, I will include more details later this evening (well, my evening). I just had little time and thrown it here. It will be more detailed, i just have to make nice images. But thanks for the advice anyway.

1 year later....I still know more about your life then I do the mod.

220+ items? What types of grass? 200 types of new wooden swords? 20 more kinds of wall?Outdated bestiary is handy too. Even the placement of the "teaser images" actually look more like they are cross over content due to the placement immediately after talking about it.

Fair enough you want to be all obtuse because it's hip but personally I like to know what I'm adding to my mod. Been burned to many times by some unmentioned crudely sexual additions or outright bigoted additions to mods I've used.

I get ya, and I agree that it sucks to not know. Were it up to date, though, this is one of the better content mods out there. It adds in a large variety of new enemies across the different biomes, all well-sprited and in my opinion pretty fitting. Items include consumables, weapons, accessories (and IIRC gems) of various descriptions, mostly available as rare drops from the new mobs. If you've ever played a mid-era (post SotN, pre LoS) Castlevania game and tried to discover all of the drops from various enemies, it's set up rather a lot like that.

At the end of the day it's still a free content mod.
...and?

That doesn't really say much. Don't get me wrong, I love this mod, but "it's free" isn't a defence of anything. I can go pick weeds from my lawn for free, but that doesn't mean that they'll make a good addition to my salad. People look for things that will make the game more enjoyable for them. They don't just add things to the game because it's free and it's there.

Neither was I complaining nor am I saying I'm entitled to that. So less applying motivations that aren't there. Just pointing out the first page it full of defenses of "more info coming"...yet to people finding this thread now they are still as clueless as then and saying why I personally don't like adding things I don't know what they do, or am I not entitled to be playing my game and not be surprised by crude pornographic content or content that comes across as bigoted and hateful (surprising what lurks in the corners of some mods, even popular ones across mod popular moddable games). Or even have undocumented gameplay changes which make you think theres a conflict or bug but actually just the modder decided not to make it clear they changes a core gameplay feature (looking at you calamity), and biome addtions that are so huge they ruin 3 other biomes in a large world (tremor).

Also no one is entitled the anyone elses time, that includes doing the work to work out what a mod does, which I've more then fairly done in spite of the hostility to wanting clear concise information (personally love when mod makers complain at people for not reading things yet so often you come across a massive void of information, which if they provide they could save themselves from being asked in the first place).

Accepted for what it is, I've decided to not use this mod, I can't even find a mod showcase for it (legend of terraria just comes up with a bunch RP-like story telling attempts), but maybe you should also accept this is a discussion thread and I did more then complain but provided an argument for why mods should be document themselves well.

Also so ridiculous to try use "privilege" arguments in this context where no one has even imply they've had that. It's a really smug way to try and appear reasonable by actual talk down to people because you dislike discussion. Believe the term is gaslighting, if you want to start thrown round that language to make others feel bad of themselves while trying to appear like your hands are clean.

Thank you for your constructive criticism.

Ok, so to make everyones moods better (or worse) this mod is discontinued. I'm working on something else, but very slowly. I may or may not take points on some of the criticism. Yet i don't like to reveal everything on plate, because in my opinion it ruins whole thing, ruins the sense of discovery. That's why there are forums or stuff like discord. exchange information about what you find between others. I tried with wiki, and failed terribly. I hope all of you understand my vision, you don't have to agree with it. See ya all later.

this mod is discontinued

While I'm glad to get some solid confirmation, I'm also sorely disappointed to hear that. LoT3 and Lucky finish are mods that I dearly hoped I'd get to play with again. Despite sharing misgivings about the amount of information provided in the beginning, they ended up being among my favourite mods, and ones I would readily recommend to others. The Igavania-esque loot hunting was an aspect I very much appreciated in my play, and the enemy variety meshed rather well, I thought.

I tried to port my mod to newest tModLoader, but because of utter chaos in coding of my mod it was never going to end. I decided to start from the scratch. Don't expect returning of half the content. There will be my own ideas and stuff based on myths and legends, but stuff that are taken directly from the games are not going to be present. I may include some very similar as a nod to them.

I'm finally back. As you know already, this mod has been abandoned. I'm currently working hard on creating new one. Please refer to my discord channel:

https://discord.gg/pBSQMV4

I will get there updates on the progress of my new content mod. Some things will return, but most content will be cut, replaced with new, original one.

To moderators: please close this thread, thank you.

(sorry for necro posting, you can award me with golden shovel later)
