Game Mechanics Let's hear your best suggestions for seed combinations!

A seed that resets every item/enemy to classic sprites? This is probably a mod or texture pack already but I haven't bothered to look. I really like the classic furnace and campfire sprites especially since they're so nostalgic
 
Idk how to terraria forums yet but i beg of you, give me a seed combo that lets golf balls damage players if they're going fast enough (maybe no traps and drunk seed?)
it would be so awesome to be golfing and watch a golf ball decimate my friends
 
The Drunk / DDU seed combo Should have Goblins and Pirate invasions swapped, scaled to proper damage and hp, would be hilarious surprise for anybody who doesn't expect it, and have items be scaled or locked until Hardmode (Like the Flying Dutchman, coin gun, and Black spot being locked to hardmode, similar to Goblin Warlock and it's drops)
 
We could really use a legendary mode difficulty toggle (without other shenanigans like in zenith seed)! I love having both evil biomes and all ores available from drunk world and being able to toggle legendary mode for a drunk world would be a dream come true!

As you all might know by now, we are adding a new special seed selection menu that will allow you to combine the special seeds of your choosing.

Along with this change, we will be introducing special effects when you make specific combinations. We already have quite a few in-game, but now I want to hear from you! What are your best ideas for what these combined effects could be? A small example of what we have done so far is combining "The Constant" with "Celebrationmk10," which will start the player out in the center of the world again, while retaining most of the effects from "Celebrationmk10."

I'm looking specifically for changes to world generation and in-game mechanical changes, not extravagant additions like new bosses or overly complicated new items.

Not the bees + drunk seeds will result in "not the mushrooms" or something like that since when you clean glowing mushroom biome it becomes a jungle biome so replacing jungle world seed with mushroom will be funny. And it will be impossible to clear the world

To put a tree in your name, you simply select the rectangle that is at the end of Redigit's name, copy it, and then go to your Account Details, press the Change button next to your username,
and write your current name, but paste the tree rectangle on the end.
 
A world seed that has ONE (and only one) desert, ONE snow biome, ONE corruption(and/or)crimson, ONE living tree, ONE pyramid, ONE enchanted sword, ONE mushroom biome, ONE spider nest,... etc (I think you get the idea).
Just to reiterate, one (only one) of every type of biome/feature rather than having to create multiple worlds to try and find 'all the things' or having worlds with multiple crimson/corruptions, multiple deserts, multiple snow biomes, multiple mushroom biomes etc.

edit for further clarification: Jungles should still contain multiple bee hives, Corruption/crimson should still contain multiple orbs/hearts, spider nest should be BIG, mushroom biome should be BIG.
edit 2: So like .... Beach | (forest) | Dungeon | (forest) | corruption/crimson | (forest) | Snow | Spawn in Big forest | Desert | (some forest) | Jungle | (more forest) | Beach

Had a dream about this and I saw a seed with 100x spawn rate.

I think the combo was GetFixedBoi, Not the Bees and No Traps

my old idea was ok, but this one is much better, and will perfectly align with all the new boulders. Drunk seed / No traps make it so there is BOULDER GOD, torch god that throws random types of Boulders, and gives the Boulder's Blessing when completed, which is an accessory that shoots random boulder types at foes, (similar to the Gelatinous Pillion) with them harming you if you run into them. If this was implemented, I would love to see somebody get squashed by their own bouncy boulder falling out of the sky.
 
The Constant + Drunk World = The Constant Drunkard
  1. Player starts with the Ale Tosser and a modest amount of Ale.
  2. Guide is replaced with the Tavernkeep.
  3. Crafting Ale now requires Hay Blocks, which can only be acquired after purchasing a Sickle from the Merchant.
  4. The "Hunger" mechanic is replaced with a "Thirst" mechanic, where the player needs to constantly drink instead of constantly eat. Going too long without a drink will cause the player to have a "Hangover" debuff, inducing an extreme weakness, slowness, confusion, and gradual loss of HP.
  5. Similar to the three levels of food buffs (Well Fed, Plenty Satisfied, and Exquisitely Stuffed), there are now three levels of drunkenness, and they affect ALL attack types:
    • Tipsy (-4 defense, +2% crit chance on all attacks, +10% all attack speed, +10% all damage, +5 fishing power)
    • Drunk (-6 defense, +3% crit chance on all attacks, +15% all attack speed, +15% all damage, +7.5 fishing power)
    • Plastered (-8 defense, +4% crit chance on all attacks, +20% all attack speed, +20% all damage, +10 fishing power)
  6. All fruit-based drinks in the game are now crafted at the Keg instead of the Cooking Pot, and they give their respective level and duration of drunkenness based off of their original food level and duration (although it might be worth re-balancing a few for the sake of variety):
    • Tipsy
      • Hard Apple Juice Cider (10min)
      • Hard Lemonade (10min)
      • Peach Sangria (10min)
      • Piña Colada (10min)
      • Frozen Banana Daiquiri (15min)
      • Fruit Juice Hard Cider (15min)
      • Bloody Moscato (20min)
      • Hard Smoothie of Darkness (20min)
      • Hard Tropical Smoothie (20min)
    • Drunk
      • Spiked Prismatic Punch (20min)
    • Plastered
      • Grape Juice Red Wine (16min)
  7. All aforementioned drinks return empty bottles upon use.
  8. Ale returns empty mugs upon use as a drink, but not when used as ammo for the Ale Tosser.
  9. The Ale Tosser's use time can be reduced with melee speed bonuses from armors, accessories, and buffs.
 
Suggestion for Secret Seed-

Underwater Secret seed

-New blocks that give oxygen
-Most of the world is submerged
-underwater accessories are given an opportunity for use
-special mounts and or accessories that must be active to go deeper in the world, (due to increased water pressure)
-underworld no longer evaporates water
-NPCs could get some cool underwater sprites, and would no longer drown in this seed
- potentially some new vanities, weapons, accessories,

Just a few ideas Incase this gets seen, I personally would love an underwater Secret seed, it would add a new challenge and environment to deal with, as well as a ticking clock with oxygen being a factor.

Last seed suggestion from me here, Celebration MK10 + No Traps could brightly paint all traps and make all boulders bouncy/rainbow boulders

Activated hive blocks could replace activated stone blocks in no traps + not the bees too

And finally, drunk + celebration mk10 should have a lot of references to older terraria versions with stuff like those dungeon lamps returning and floating islands having ore brick houses

getfixedboi + notraps = there is 1 boulder trap in the entire map that contains an antimatter boulder, which when activated (by causing it to move) will create a massive explosion when it collides with anything. the explosion would be big enough that even on a large world you can clearly see the dent it made on a fully zoomed out map. the boulder would glow, make particles, make noise, etc to lure curious unsuspecting players to it and trolling them when they activate it, but also to warn players that know what it is so any builds they made near it wont be unfairly wiped out in a blast of bull:red: proportions.
 
"Bee Immunity": Combine the "No Traps" seed with the "Not the Bees" seed, granting the player immunity to bee attacks, and rendering all bee-related traps and events ineffective against the player.

The no traps seed and the Dont Dig Up! Seed should make dart traps shoot boulders :dryadgrin:
