Game Mechanics Let's hear your best suggestions for seed combinations!

Not exactly a seed combination, but I think it would be neat if there were a certain set of specific features that you could enable from various secret seeds without having to enable the rest of the seed. Some of the more useful ones I was thinking of would be the option to generate both evils or both ore types from the same tier or default to otherworldly music when you load the world (from drunk seed), enabling the weapon progression switch (from don't dig up), or adding the rare items to princess's shop (from celebrationmk10).
 
No traps + For the worthy many more heart boulders spawn like normal life crystals
 
ftw + no traps seed will make the traps spawn EVEN MORE traps than no traps seed

dont dig up + the constant should make the hunger system go 2 times faster, marble biome and spider nests also spawn more frequently

celebrationmk10 + ftw seed should make every item in chests have the worst modifier they can get, majority of the world will be painted in dark colors instead, the traveling merchant sells 4 less items than usual, but the drop chance for rare items like rod of discord and dev sets are increased even higher to compensate, princess should also sell more rare items(but with a expensive price)
 
Great question! This sounds so fun!

No traps and not the bees:
-Jungle traps replace all normal traps (wooden spikes replace regular spikes in dungeon, etc.)

Don't Starve and Celebration Mk 10
-
Princess sells don't starve related items (Ham Bat in hardmode, tentacle spike in easy mode)

Don't starve and Drunk world
-All bosses act like Deerclops, lasting for 24 hours before despawning, even on death. Except Deerclops, who despawns on death.

Celebration Mk 10 and Don't Dig up
-Swap the rocket launcher Celebration with the blowgun (lategame dart weapon goes hard)
-Swap proximity launcher with flare gun
-party girl materials do more damage, including confetti gun
-pirate cannon does no damage and shoots out celebration-style fireworks

Not the Bees and For the Worthy:
-Honey is now poisoned and damages the player instead of healing them (unless bezoar is equipped).
-Plantera bulbs spawn all over jungle on world creation and break like larvae, in addition to growing normally (lots of random plantera fights, but good for farming plantera and fits with voodoo demon spam/larva spam)

Celebration Mk 10 and For the Worthy
-Underworld is full of shimmer instead of lava. Shimmer slimes replace lava slimes. Shimmered voodoo doll now summons wall of flesh.

Don't Starve with Don't Dig Up
-start the player in a marble biome with multiple statues, replacing the lava island. Wood slimes could provide wood.

Don't dig up with Not the Bees
-Chlorophyte spawns from the start, chlorophyte equipment has properties of copper/tin
-Copper/tin can only be mined with drax or higher
 
Drunk World and Not the Bees make it so that all blocks are just hive blocks
AND bees deal five times the damage
 
If the normal world setting counts as seed I would like a combination of normal world type and for the worthy to produce legendary mode and its new boss ai and stats but without exploding bombs from trees, pots and all of world generation to be normal. TLDR normal world with legendary mode.
 
not sure how this would work at all lmao, but don't dig up + drunk seed = boss progression order is completely reversed so that the first boss you fight is moon lord and the end game boss is eye of cthulhu

edit: and mechdusa to enter hardmode?
 
Not the Bees + Celebration should make all hornets be recolored to random colors so you have a rainbow of hornets

Celebration mk10 or drunk world combined with don't dig up has living trees that reach the underworld.

Celebrationmk10 + drunk = flooded world, each surface biome an island.

Drunk+For the worthy= "endless dungeon"

Don't dig up + constant = reverse world, hell filled with water instead of lava, lava oceans on surface
 
Celebrationmk10 + drunk world = hallow and evil biome switch places? Like hallow is a pre hardmode biome and replaces the evil biome in terms of progression (so boc/eow equivalent would be a nerfed queen slime or empress of light) and its gear is changed to have pre-hm stats, and evil spawns only after wall of flesh
 
Hey Red, one question, is possible to do things like... having the Underworld at the top of the map and the Floating Islands at the bottom?, Like Don't Dig Up but really turning things around, and digging your way to the under sky

Because it would perhaps be a good combination, something drastic and ambitious, but there is the idea XD

As you all might know by now, we are adding a new special seed selection menu that will allow you to combine the special seeds of your choosing.

Along with this change, we will be introducing special effects when you make specific combinations. We already have quite a few in-game, but now I want to hear from you! What are your best ideas for what these combined effects could be? A small example of what we have done so far is combining "The Constant" with "Celebrationmk10," which will start the player out in the center of the world again, while retaining most of the effects from "Celebrationmk10."

I'm looking specifically for changes to world generation and in-game mechanical changes, not extravagant additions like new bosses or overly complicated new items.

I know this isn't a direct response to the question, but is it possible to do world seeds that make the whole world essentially one biome? (ie desert, jungle, etc) The purpose would be for challenge runs, but especially for mixing with other world seeds.
 
For the Worthy + Zenith/get fixed boi = Ultimate Difficulty. (Good luck talking WaffleTime into playing that on Hardcore. :D)

Every Seed together including get fixed boi amplifies the effect of every seed in get fixed boi. (More Traps, more Jungle, quicker hunger drain, ect.)

In addition to anything else, Drunk + Party has NPCs start Shimmered. (BTY, I'm guessing this is the Shimmer Ocean combo.)

Not the Bees + No Traps makes Bee Hives generate from the bottom of Jungle Grass way more often.

Not the Bees + For the Worthy makes characters named Nicholas Cage get OHKOed by every bee. :P

Not the Bees + No Traps makes Boulders act like beehives spawning a bunch of bees (or even mini boulders depending how evil you want to be, also the more the better), and beehives like boulders so dealing boulder like damage on contact

Yes, but imagine this: he reads through, and basically picks and combines some of everyone's ideas -if- possible.
 
For the Remix seed and the constant it'd be cool to have complete darkness and you have to re ingite light sources (campfires and torches will go out after a certain amount of time), so the player will have to constantly worry about Charlie. Maybe generate a campfire at spawn so people can get ash wood to stoke it and other campfires they make (gel for torches). There are some flaws to this idea but it's just a thought 😆.
