Game Mechanics Let's hear your best suggestions for seed combinations!

For the Worthy + Not the Bees
  • Pots drop a rolling hive instead of active bombs. Cutting trees no longer produces bombs, only rolling hives.
  • Floating Islands are replaced with a jungle variation, except with water to allow fishing (normally all water is converted to honey)
  • Red Potions will poison you, along with the respective 3 buffs.
  • Hives can split into multiple smaller hives upon bouncing?
  • The Queen Bee can fire stingers AND bees at the same time, in either phase where she is doing one or the other.
  • Most ash blocks are replaced with Crispy Honey. Hellstone structures are deep green painted.

I'm sure he can't complain that much. If he is anything like me he might even enjoy seeing all the creative suggestions made by this wonderful community.
 
Celebration + Remix = A party on the surface; with baloons flying on the background, monsters in party hat and more.
Monsters killed in that seed and in the surface explodes into confetti and drops items, like a piñata.
Some party sounds could be nice too. Maybe some monsters like zombies and face monsters, and eater of souls, could show their festivities too.

Maybe some monsters could bring you a cake too.
 
If the normal world setting counts as seed I would like a combination of normal world type and for the worthy to produce legendary mode and its new boss ai and stats but without exploding bombs from trees, pots and all of world generation to be normal. TLDR normal world with legendary mode.
And combining normal world with any seed could produce tamer variant of the seed, for example normal + no traps = actual no traps or less than normal traps, normal + the constant = no hunger, only higher don't starve drops and generation and so on.
 
Some seed combination with the drunk seed that just keeps the both evil biomes, and both ore variants and thats it.
I would love this, but alternatively, I think on world generation we should have a setting / option that simply just generates a world with both evil biomes... and Key of Night mimics spawning depending on where the chest is, would be nice to be able to play some real vanilla terraria with less building / "artificial biome" process involved!

It would still probably be a bit overheating, but I wouldn’t know.

For the Worthy + No Traps at the very least upgrades normal dart traps to Lihzahrd dart traps. If possible add some normally Lihzahrd Temple traps everywhere in world gen.
No Traps + Not the Bees has some boulder traps have a Queen Bee larva underneath or some way of making Queen Bee show up after triggering a trap.

seems like people already suggest constant + not the bees for that. You could do mk10 + the constant to reduce the amount of spider biomes

I see that the normal world is in the seed selector as well, does that mean that there could be combinations involving that as well, like normal + drunk?
 
I have a few more ideas for no traps + for the worth such as. . .
Adding spike chunks to terrain
Putting lizzardra traps the worldgen
Increases frequency of life crystal boulders
And biting trees should have a chance to spawn boulders.
Take or leave however many you want @Redigit🌳 , only add what you fell fits the game.
 
May be a little tricky, but imagine dontdigup and fortheworthy and getfixedboi combined to trigger something like the star game for map generation, except mid-game. If your character touches the sun or a star in the background, you lose a quarter of your max health.

put some spaces in the seed and get that bug where a rectangular section of the world fails to load and is just not there. the "we left a space for you to build" modifier.

As you all might know by now, we are adding a new special seed selection menu that will allow you to combine the special seeds of your choosing.

Along with this change, we will be introducing special effects when you make specific combinations. We already have quite a few in-game, but now I want to hear from you! What are your best ideas for what these combined effects could be? A small example of what we have done so far is combining "The Constant" with "Celebrationmk10," which will start the player out in the center of the world again, while retaining most of the effects from "Celebrationmk10."

I'm looking specifically for changes to world generation and in-game mechanical changes, not extravagant additions like new bosses or overly complicated new items.

Ok so if you combine don’t dig up and MK celebration its an ocean of water at spawn you sawn on a small island with the pirate with many other islands scattered around and those island have sea themed treasure and there is like a corruption island a jungle island and maybe even a shimmer island and just stuff like that the sky island are also normal you also you spawn with a few palm trees and under the ocean is a giant layer of sand then under that It’s the normal caves until you get the the underworld which is the same concept but with ash and lava (maybe I’ve been play to much sea of theives but I like the idea)
 
no traps + not the bees = waay more hives hanging from like, anywhere.
dont dig up + celebrationmk10 = hell and space swapped too? mm aybe too complex
the constant + not the bees = dont starve bee sound effects. please. maybe you need to drink honey, instead of just any food, too.
for the worthy + ... well, I'm wondering if theres an option for a normal world here? normal worldgen, FTW mechanics?
EDIT: drunk world + dont dig up = a peaceful True Surface and evil underground-surface

also wondering how combining getfixedboi with other seeds will even work since... that looks like getfixedboi is the last one, but like. it already HAS every seed??

celebrationmk10 + no traps = firework traps.

a brilliant and explosive way to die brutally.

just a simple little thing like this would be nice—i know fireworks are in the game but like, what if they were naturally in the world? it’s basically like an explosive trap but cooler
 
What if For the Worthy + The Constant made it way darker (no sunlight would be kinda extreme but if you think that's fine then sure) and should make your hunger way faster needing much more frequent eating.
 
• Not the bees + Celebration
start at the ocean, endless slime rain, start with demolitionist + party girl + painter, queen bee is more common, king slime spawns with queen bee, princess spawn when both are defeated, in hardmode queen bee + king slime + queen slime spawn together

• Not the bees + Celebration + For the worthy
all of the above and theres always an invasion happening, slimes and invasion enemies have a chance to drop detonated beenades instead of regular drops, when beehives fall on water a jungle slime spawns, on hardmode queen bee larvas and plantera bulbs are painted with echo coating
 
A snow themed seed combination would be cool, maybe something like not the bees + celebrationmk10?
 
Some of these might be suggested already, but here are a few "decent" ideas:
Drunk World + Celebrationmk10:
The crimson and corruption biomes have their blocks swapped (ex: crimson biome generation with corruption blocks)

No traps + For the Worthy:
If there weren't enough traps and boulders already, a boulder has a chance of dropping from trees, and the For The Worthy bombs explode much quicker. Explosive Traps can also generate well on the surface.

Drunk World + Not the Bees:
Instead of a few large hives, there is one massive beehive that encompasses almost the entire jungle.

The Constant + Don't Dig Up:
Marble Biomes and Spider Caves are much more plentiful in the "False Surface" layer of regular Don't Dig Up generation.

Every World Seed but The Constant:
Everyone knows they would remove this seed to avoid the grainy filter. Guess what, the filter is by default on, and the Radio Thing doesn't affect it! Happy mining!

Drunk World + For the Worthy:
For the Drunk? Drunk Worthy? Have a high chance of combining the three major biomes (Desert with the Underground Desert, Jungle, and Snow) into one amalgamated mess.
