Official Let's hear your forum improvements!

Actual follower and following counts instead of "and 12 more." It's annoying to have to do math to figure out how many followers someone has.

Actually I wouldn’t mind having followers show up next to your reaction score and messages, it could replace points since we don’t use them for anything.

Maybe, but I'm pretty sure points are required for XenForo forums.

Hey everyone, thanks for the feedback and thoughts. While we aren't planning making changes any time soon, we'll keep these in mind. Most ideas mentioned lately aren't doable, or would take an enormous effort of time and expense for a small benefit, but as things develop and the forums get updated we'll keep a look out for anything that could work for some of the ideas.

it would probably getting annoying quick, but add an option to give you a ping when a post is edited somewhere you're watching like a thread or a profile post you commented on

on the topic of profile posts, add the option to watch/unwatch them, a lot of people (me not included) tend to avoid replying to some because itll flood their alerts while some want to get alerts but have to post something to do so

Add a feature that detects if the reaction you have recived is "Like" and, if so, changes the notofication to "[User] liked your post" instead of "[User] reacted to your post with [reaction]
the later makes sense for most reactions, but not for likes

That would make it inconsistent though.

I think it’s more important that it makes gramatical sense than for it to be consistent
I don't. I'd rather everything just be all the same.

full support from me, and some other people are also sick of not having an option to unwatch profile posts.

i rmember on my old profile there was a stupid post i made that a ton of people commented on and i just ended up deleting the post cos i was getting like 80 pings a day of people complaining about the pings lmao

That's basically impossible though.

I do wish we could do this.

Okay, what about renaming ”like” to ”Thumbs up” then it makes grammatical sense when used in the default notification

"Like" rings off the tongue better imo

I don’t see how it’s grammatically incorrect, either. “Like” can be used as a noun

"left a like on your post"
That sounds kind of weird. It makes me think of an Amazon worker dropping off a package of like at your doorstep

better than "reacted to your post with like"

better than "reacted to your post with like"
Not at all. "Reacted with like" actually makes sense because the like reaction is a reaction. Plus its consistent with everything else.

This seems to me like a "reply all" situation but as there is no unwatch option, the "reply all" is involuntarily made.
