Let's Play a Game of "Fortunately, Unfortunately..."

As the title says, let's start a game that goes by the name "Fortunately, Unfortunately..."

If you've never played it before, it's as simple as this:

1. One person begins with a sentence (e.g., One day I got a job).
2. Another person tells of something unfortunate that happens (e.g., Unfortunately, I got fired on the same day).
   
3. Another contributes a fortunate event (e.g., Fortunately, I didn't like the job).
   
4. Another will contribute an unfortunate event (e.g., Unfortunately, I have no money now).
5. Another will contribute a fortunate event (e.g., Fortunately, I can ask my mum for money).
   
6. Rinse and repeat until the end of time.

Feel free to go as outrageous as you want. The sillier, the better. Let's see how long we can make this post, shall we?
