You mean the same bombs that couldn't break it before suddenly being able to?? Definitely not. Just add a new bomb if you must.

yeah, post EOW/BOC, unless you get Reaver Shark, which even then might not be able to break it due to nerfs.

No, (well technically yeah because Molten is post-evil) definitely make it molten, so it still requires you to obtain that ore and probably make it that tier and below, so Pickaxe Axe tier bombs can't bomb chlorophyte but can mine Adamantite and below, just to keep getting ores for gears the same.
