Generally you use STLs for 3D printing, so you'd probably have to convert it

I don't know very much about 3D printing other than I can theoretically print blender models. Probably won't look as good printed as it does in the render though.

Depends on how good the printer is! You'd have to paint it if you wanted it to be more than one colour through.
