Aqua sees Spencer repairing the robot that was just terrorizing the group, the group, he recognised that had two members that actively defended his people from a bombing. He steps up beside Spencer.

"Excuse me sir, but wouldn't that be dangerous? That object was just used to assault numerous people, and from what I can see, reviving it would only bring danger. Perhaps you would reconsider?"

Whilst I was gone, the following happened with my characters:
Chis followed ghoul Tethin, sticking near him. If I disappear again, I grant Creeper the ability to use Chis, as long as what he makes Chis do isn't extremely important and doesn't kill the character.
Therian is in her base, doing Therian in her base things.

Aqua walks towards Chis, his rapier clanking against his leg scales through his trousers.
He just about witnessed people disappearing into portals, and heard the gunfire.
"Excuse me, do you know what happened here?"

If I disappear again, I grant Creeper the ability to use Chis, as long as what he makes Chis do isn't extremely important and doesn't kill the character.

Aqua sees Spencer repairing the robot that was just terrorizing the group, the group, he recognised that had two members that actively defended his people from a bombing. He steps up beside Spencer.

"Seriously?" *Spencer removes the cube and the robot dies* "must be the element..." *Spencer continues to tinker with the robot*

A Black dwarf jay appears, perched on a bent over tall reed. The bird wakes up before giving two confused-sounding, raspy half-chirps

In a sudden shift, the bird became a small, amorphous blob of absolute darkness. Said shadow grows and stretches into the shape of a human before actually becoming a human wearing a dark cowl, scarf and a very wide brimmed straw hat, all of which were littered with shed feathers.

"This is... new?" They look around, literally, as their neck swivels 360 degrees before resting at it's original position. "Nifty place."

Despite his unhopful words, Aqua crouches bedside Spencer and offers his help.

Aqua takes the cube in his hands, and as he brings it to his face, his eyes suddenly become half lidded.
"Mmmmm, cube..."
It is obvious that Aqua is affected in some way. He seems mesmerized, and someone should probably try shaking him out of the trance.
Unless someone would like a side plot with evil fish...

The birthin's magic, once used to bring him back from the grave, seems to be interacting with the trace amounts of tech inside the cube, the code and magic colliding in an unholy combination. Megered with the fact that Vagrant's code is also spreading into the magic, someone would surely figure out this is not a desirable outcome.

[Cryogenesis]

Assessing the scope of his enemy, now realizing the ease through which the machine can spread his will, Foundation makes a split second decision.

"We're falling back. Forget the sample."

He slams down on some sort of screen on his wrist. A white rift splits open below the group.

Gauze's eyes go wide as she drops through, falling into the ground below.

Nailz grunts in pain as his arm mends, falling through as well.

Caba-Tev, the Ghoul, and Armatura all fall in as well, with the edges of the portal along where the two machines stand in wait.

Realizing there's clearly something Foundation doesn't want him reaching, the fully infected machine dives towards the portal..

Only to be peppered by several rapidly shot, high impact rounds, stopped him midair, falling in several, hardly connected pieces, to the ground, sparking heavily.

"Strategic retreat... how wise."

The portal rapidly begins to shut, with Foundation abandoning both Peacebringers, diving into the portal before it closes. There's a wide enough gap that X might be able to enter as well, if he so chooses.. though he might feel.. reluctant to do so, knowing this rift likely leads somewhere FAR, FAR AWAY. (DM for more info)

X-001 looks at the portal and then back at Limbo. After thinking for a while, he decides to jump into the portal, leaving behind the place he called home. Once the portal snaps shut, all of X-001's bases power down, the terminals self-destruct, making all of his outposts go up in flames. As he traverses through the portal, Eclipse begins to disintegrate as well as his gauntlets, and Mjolnir turns back into his original form, a giant hammer comprised of multiple gears and metal parts.
"I forgot, can't bring anything from one dimension to another, well, let's see where this takes us, shall we?"
A small smile forms on X-001's face as he readies himself for whatever he will find on the other side.

Three years later, back on X-001's earth
Time: midnight

The sound of a portal opening could be heard from across the house, waking everyone up in a very unpleasant way.

A man kicks down the door to his bedroom, shattering the door into nothing but splinters. The man is currently shirtless, multiple scars are visible across his entire body, as well as massive muscles that could be compared to those of Broly from DBZ.
"WHAT THE HEll IS THAT NOISE AND COULD SOMEBODY SHUT THAT THING UP"
His long red hair begins to float upwards, as well as all the splinters from his shattered door. He seems to be quite the strong fellow, but also a very impulsive one.

Then, to his right, walks out another man from a separate room, this one had black wavy hair and was wearing a plain black shirt with long black pants
"Nathan, next time you want to get out of your room, don't break the door down. This is the fifth one you've broken this week."
"Sorry, but this noise is extremely irritating. I was having the best dream ever! I was fight-"
"Yes, yes, you can tell us all about it tomorrow after we figure out what is causing the noise."
To the left of Nathan, a woman walks out of her bedroom wearing crimson red pajama robes, her skin is grey as well as he long straight hair. She flicks her fingers and creates a small brimstone flame to light the way, and begins to walk towards the stairs.
"Katherine, you don't understand, I was fight-"
"Yes, you were fighting someone very powerful and losing. You've had this dream about three times already."
Nathan grumbles as he follows Katherine, Chrozma following behind them shortly after. Once they reach the first floor, they see their other siblings there, the first one is a woman with golden hair wearing a comfortable white dress, and there is a specter behind her with long crimson hair wearing a suit of armor.
"Katherine, did the noise wake you up to?"
"They're here, so I think that's a yes, Alice."
Then another woman walks up, she was wearing black robes and brown wavy hair
"Celia, she was just asking, there is no need to be so rude."
"I wasn't being rude, just saying, sorry if I sounded like that Gabriela."
Then, a man and a child walk out, the man is wearing a grey shirt with long white pants and has straight brown hair, while the kid has a light blue shirt with the Superman logo on the front with shorts and some dark blue shorts, he seems to be 13 year old
"Can someone explain to me why it sounds like WW3 in here? I woke up and accidentally blasted a hole through the ceiling."
"I accidentally slashed my door open."
"I should have known it as you, Laurance, I hope for you're sake you fix that right after we discover the source of the notice. As for you, Bill, don't worry, we'll fix it in the morning."
Suddenly, another man dashes by everyone else, descending into the basement. That man was William, also known as X-002
"You morons, that notice is the portal in the basement, that means he's back! Karl is back!"
Everyone in the room stands still, for a while before dashing behind William and following him into the basement. There, a machine is seen with a blue right open in the middle, and out of the portal walks Karl, his left hand still missing, he waves at them with a smile.
"It's been a while, hasn't it? How've you all been doing?"
The doors to he portal room open as he is hugged by all of his siblings, tears of joy flood the room as the portal closes behind them.
"Where have you been all these years!!!"
"Sorry for taking so long, I found someone I wanted to spend time with and the notion of time slipped away."
"Slipped away? It's been three years since you've disappeared."
"Unless that person is you're wife, or your children, I will pound your skull into the ground."
"Calm down, when the time's right, you'll meet the person."
"How's Cthulu, giving you any trouble?"
"He actually behaved himself"
"What happened to your arm?"
"Want me to eliminate them for you?"
"Oh, yeah, can you please fix this, Alice? That would be appreciated, and no, Laurance, the last thing I need is for you to go on another genocidal adventure"
Lauracne clicks his tongue upon hearing him
"Bill, I see you've grown taller since the last time we spoke."
Bill tries to speak but his words are illegible between all of the tears and sniffles, so Karl simply hugs him, which causes Bill to hug Karl back and cry more.
"We clearly have a lot of catching up to do, but first, I need a cup of coffee."
