The magical properties indeed can be felt too. It feels warm and fuzzy and - huh. Seems like it even has some kind of signature you can kind of just sense, assuming you possess sufficient magic sensitivity. Feels vaguely like what it feels to persist...

There's a quiet clanking and beeping throughout the camp. The MMU, in all of its foot and a half tall glory, comes sprinting through, clutching what looks like a huge bomb above its head, weaving between all those present.

Arma is skuttling in the machine's wake, lens wide in anger.

"HEY. GET BACK HERE YOU BRAT! YOU CAN'T JUST STEAL MY PROJECTS LIKE THIS!"

She tries getting through the crowd.. to moderate success, likely bumping into a lot of people, the MMU gaining distance quickly.

Zinque is watching all of this blankly from his spot against the tree.

"Awaiting.. deployment."

*As MMU is running through camp, Tethin picks the bomb up, the MMU with it.*
"Now what are you doing with this, eh?"

"Not exactly work magic, you see, I can't cast spells like Xueqing and Astra nor can I summon spectral objects like Bright, but I do know how to engrave runes with magical properties to weapons and armor, and any object really"
X-001 then realizes his mistake and gives the totem back to Melanie
"Sorry, shouldn't have grabbed it without permission, By the way, your sword is causing great disruption in the magnetic fields, what kind of magical properties does it have?"

Melanie nods, seeming to understand.

X-001 then realizes his mistake and gives the totem back to Melanie
"Sorry, shouldn't have grabbed it without permission, By the way, your sword is causing great disruption in the magnetic fields, what kind of magical properties does it have?"

"Thanks."
Melanie then glances at her sword, giving X a confused look.
"...Also...magnetic uh...what now?"
"...Pretty sure my sword in itself should have no magical properties..."

Melanie perks up a bit, remembering her other totem.
"..Oooh. That Primordial Light Totem I somehow convinced the Empress to give me has some magic in it too."
