IC Limbo.

"Understood."

He remains idle.

By now, the dark plated machine is gone, nowhere to be seen or traced.. for now.

Armatura peeks out from the metal hut at the sound of all this commotion.. watching worriedly from a distance.

Her lens narrows a bit in visible disgust.

Zinque looks over as well, emotionlessly scrutinizing the defiled arm..

(I assume Adeline has run out of the camp by now? Having a horrible idea involving Zinque if not..)
(Starfall is secretly watching Zinque and Malis, her primary being Malis. Lol)
(Stealth Sf 18 +Sym 7x0.25 =19.75)

Target observes everyone, waiting for a perfect moment.

"...How, exactly?"
Melanie sounds intrigued, but also glances at her sword as well.
"There's no science behind it, I thought you would prefer your sword to be upgraded before heading out on another expedition"
Bow-Eye: We both made a deal with this guy named Big Brother Vision after we died where he'd bring us back to life and let us get revenge on those who wronged us as long as we purified this world by killing every person who deserved to die. He's in the photo, right here.
Bow-Eye points to Big Brother Vision.
"Did you two ever regret that decision?"
Bow-Eye: Eyenite. It's a near indestructible metal. Not completely indestructible, only NEAR INDESTRUCTIBLE. By near, I mean that a universal collapse MIGHT scratch it. Also, stop holding onto that. It can have severe effects on your mental health.
"Doubt it can leave worse mental health than the time my sibling and I fought various elderich gods, plus, if it is truly that strong it could make a fine weapon, well, more enhance a weapon but still, a good weapon or armor"

"There's no science behind it, I thought you would prefer your sword to be upgraded before heading out on another expedition"
"...I mean, if it cuts better on its own, that makes me happy."
"...Wouldn't you need...more materials though?"

Melanie scratches her head.
"And uh...why would you be doing all that for me again?"

Starfall stares at Malis through the bush created by her symbiont.
<Needs to be careful on this one…>

Bow-Eye: No.

Bow-Eye: Have fun trying to make something out of it. All Eyenite gear was made by Big Brother Vision, who was the only entity we know of who could easily break Eyenite. Eyenite will NOT MELT, so you can't mend it, it's too durable, so you can't chip it into bullets or something, and even if you could, these pieces are too small to make into like a sword or a gun.

[Do what you please, but if your gonna grab her, please do it by the infected arm I have a GREAT IDEA]
(Worse. High caliber first aid.)

In his sole focus on Adeline, the machine neglects any chance to look around. In one fluid motion, he turns his torso out, raising his handgun as it seems to build some sort of charge.

To the bystander, it looks as if the machine might as well be taking aim at Adeline. He fires so quickly and unexpectedly that nobody really has the time to react, only to see the red flash.

...

He aims for her ruined arm with the heavy pulse round, aiming wide so that a missed shot will take off less of the arm, not part of her torso. (17) The shot is composed of a physical shell, but also a molten, blazing trail of red liquid around it. In being shot, the wound should essentially be spot-cauterized as well, making bleeding only a minor issue.

He stands in place after, watching Adeline over the steaming barrel of his revolver.

"Biological threat to perceived ally has been addressed.. awaiting further scrutiny to determine the effectiveness of treatment."

He lowers the handgun, but remains otherwise in the same position.

The Wendigo: I’m going to pretend I didn’t see that.

(August is still following Adeline.)

"cause you are helping me with the maps, so I'll help you upgrade your sword"
Bow-Eye: No.
"Guess you guys enjoy your job then, wonder what was your profession before"

"How about adding it to a weapon as an enhancement, or adding it to a staff, and that a mage imbues mana with it?

[D20:19. Adeline turns around, swinging her knife at the bullet, timing it perfectly, deflecting it. She then continues running.]
Cobalt is looking at a tree happily.
Cobalt: This is a very nice tree-
The deflected bullet rips Cobalt's face clean off, revealing deep blue metallic flesh.
Cobalt: ...Well this is quite an inconvenience.

Hades: interesting. Truly interesting. The people here have much more power than I thought.

"cause you are helping me with the maps, so I'll help you upgrade your sword"
"Uh.."
Melanie blushes.
"Thanks, I suppose."
Melanie lifts her jet sword a bit now, looking it over.
"...Be careful, at least. A friend helped with making this sword."
"I'd prefer the thrusters to at least not be...too modified, if possible?"

Melanie pauses.
"-Well, when it's convenient for you to upgrade my sword anyway. It'll work fine until then."

(August catches up.)

"What's happening!?"

"Guess you guys enjoy your job then, wonder what was your profession before"
Didn't have one, we both died before we turned 13.
"How about adding it to a weapon as an enhancement, or adding it to a staff, and that a mage imbues mana with it?
Wouldn't work. Eyenite naturally resists magic, stopping it right in its tracks, and adding it to "enhance" a weapon does nothing but for vanity.

"Ranged means of addressing the problem have proved ineffective.."

He looks as if he wants to pursue, then turning to look at Malis once again, realizing that he'd be better off staying put for now..

(August looks at Zinque.) "Hello sir, can you not shoot people? Thanks."

"Uh.."

"I was talking about the totem, but if you want, I can upgrade your sword too"
Didn't have one, we both died before we turned 13.
"You are 13 years old? and were murdured as well"

"Jeez, what am I soppost to tell August now"

"I was talking about the totem, but if you want, I can upgrade your sword too"
"...What, my flame totem?"
Melanie seems a bit confused.

"One or two, they some time to get there, unless you don't have issue with the freezing cold, then you can skip most of the prep work at which point it takes like 40 minutes of walking."
"Well that's a given then, we shall depart there immediately"
"...What, my flame totem?"
Melanie seems a bit confused.
"I could also upgrade your flame totem if you want, but I was talking about the ice totem I was about to make for you"
Was, something called "time" has passed since then. I'm now both 46 and 32 at the same time. It's hard to explain, but for all extensive purposes, I'm 46.
"That truly is inexplicable, I do wonder though, who would win between X-008, or better known as Laurence, and you"
Bow-Eye: Womp Womp.
"Woop Woop indeed my friend"
