(Now @Clockwork17, I've read your venting about you're parents and the decision they took ,since I'm not the best at emotional talk I'm gonna make this quick and simple and tell you to not let this create a rift between you and your parents, sometimes our parents take decisions that we may not agree with and other times that ask a lot on our part, but most parents do it because they think it is what is best for you, just a lil word of advice)

Melanie takes the pipe, holding it in her hand as she gets used to the weight, having left her larger sword leaning against the couch near Riolu.
"..Been a while since I used a sword this size..."
Melanie waves for X to move out of the way while she walks over to August, adapting a combat ready pose.
"Shall we simply spar for a bit then?"
"I gotta get warmed up with this "blade"."

The paint job sucks. It's actually peeling, probably from age. It's easy to guess who was responsible for that.
The craftmanship of the sword itself, on the other hand, is definitely far beyond what Melanie realistically could achieve even given the most optimistic of assumptions. Doubtful she's behind the thrusters, anyway.

"Okay... not sure how well I can attack you though..."

"Well, only one way to find out, eh?"
Melanie readies herself, taking a deep breath.
