PC Lost a world and a character with unknown error.

I booted up the game today to find out that everything went back to base settings and binds. In the process I also found out that one of my characters and a world I played it on were labeled "(unknownError)" before their name, the character picture was a base terraria character icon and it pretty much looked like a newly made character that I couldnt even use. I checked file integrity on steam, it stated that one file failed to integrate but it was being reacquired but even though i did that a couple of times, nothing was fixed. Is there any solution to this issue?

I'm having the same problem.
And the world was crimson and now it shows its corruption, and when i try to load it with another character it says "Load failed!", "No backup found"
