Lucid Dreaming

All my dreams are just plain black voids. Well, accept for an occasional talk with asriel.

I've kind of died off of the idea.
My best friend is lucky, though. She's one of the rare percentage of people that do it naturally without even knowing that it's not normal.
Half envious half happy about that. :P

I had a lucid dream of danganronpa and some aliens invading earth. If you've watched, played, or read Danganronpa you know what happens most of the time. After the trials were done I ordered people to build a drill to go to the center of the Earth where a portal to the aliens was located. We all proceeded to punch their leader in the face.

So the last 2 days i've "woken up" in the night but there's absolutely NO light at all, just darkness. When i'm there i just think "ok let's just lay still and try not to fall asleep". Some weird things have happened though during the blackout wakeups. I believe these "wakeups" are just VERY realistic dreams. All of my dreams are darker than real life, so me lying in an unlit room would make it: Pitch black.

If i get another "blackout wakeup" i'll try to move and maybe check my phone or possibly try to get out of the room. If i find myself acutally being in a dream, this might be a gateway to lucid dreaming. I'll make an update next time I stumble upon it!

EDIT: Some more proof is that my parents often shout to me when i should wake up, and when i do i am able to see things, which i can't during the "blackout". This just adds to my theory

NOTE: When it happens i just think i'm awake. It's not until AFTER i've actually woken up in the morning that i start thinking about how weird it is (which adds to my theory even more). I know how waking up early in the morning feels like, and this state is NOT like that.

EDIT 2: I am aware it's most likely a false awakening, i just wanted to let you guys know that i am now testing it.

Alright so since i was talking so much about doing it i guess i jinxed it. Ended up waking up for real instead

:/

Lucid dreaming? Yeah, the dreams where you know you're dreaming? Pretty sure I had one of those last night, even if I only realised half way through the dream.
I've been considering Lucid Dreaming for a few days. What's funny is that I only started doing reality checks and stuff like that late 2 days ago.
I hear writing down your dreams and sharing things here are useful, so this is what I remember:
At the start of the dream, it seemed I was playing some kind of multiplayer game over the Internet. What a surprise, I was playing it with the members of TCF I interact the most with... that being @ShadowPulse69 @Vinnoe and @Myu . It played kind of similarly to Super Mario 64, but we were allowed to change who we were to anything ever. We started in a room at the top of a castle, and apparently instead of jumping through magic paintings we jump through magic stained-glass window in the same room. I don't remember much about level 1, but level 2 (which we got to by going into the same window after completing level 1) was split into rooms. In the fourth room was the boss, which we defeated, and we were magically teleported to level 3 without the window. There were a few things happening over the chat, but nothing major.

Then, I somehow ended up in my room without my computer or anything. I decided to go downstairs, with the house surprisingly empty. I found my computer on the sofa, and my internet browser was open to an empty page. When I moved my mouse, Minecraft opened for some reason, although it instantly just became an error with a load of useless text that seemed like someone had just typed random things on the keyboard. It also came accompanied with a sound that was an awful lot like my alarm's sound (which I had waken up before it went off for a few days now). It made me think I was going to wake up, which then brought me to the fact this could be a dream, and the alarm noise ended. Nothing happened.

So then, from that, I decided to do a Reality Check. A good, long stare at what my hand should be brought nothing, so I decided to try making a finger go through it. It took a little pushing onwards, and it felt really strange (as in, yes, my hand felt something going through it) but yes, it worked. Something about this just clicked, and I knew. I didn't try anything funny, I didn't run around like a chicken with it's head cut off screaming about things, I just kinda knew. So then I went upstairs, my mother tried to talk to me about something I don't remember, and in the middle of it I just said "I'm dreaming right now" and my mother just said OK like it was nothing. The dream ended not long after that.
That was wierdly cool.
(I know it's a bit late to say so, but from a page I read this basically wasn't a proper Lucid Dream.
GG, mind.)

I have other dream to share just because.
I start inside of a pink room with a curved roof, as if inside a semi-sphere. There's a wobbly-shaped window, and I can see the sky from it. When I do look out at the sky, there are masses and masses of stars, many of them connected with white lines, creating detailed drawings of things like dragons and dolphins.

At some point, I end up in a car without a roof, giving me an even better view of the constellations. My mother is driving the car. We pass through many places, including one town with lots of small blue balloons being released to the sky, a place full of giant Chinese dragon balloons and a road where the ground literally is waving like a calm ocean (in which my mother simply comments "bloody earthquakes").

Was Gud.

hardcore unbelievable hard work on sleeping.
This is the most amazing thing ever, it is going in my signature. Right now.

Funnily enough, a week ago I had a dream I didn't post here which was going to be my first entry in my dream diary.
Can't post 'em all when you have so many.
But then, until today, as hard as I tried, I remembered NO DREAMS whatsoever. Kind of saddening.
But today, I remembered a dream I had, which is amazing compared to the last week of nothing.

The first thing I remember from this one is using my phone to visit TCF. I posted a status asking this:
"[Pokémon] Which is better, gen 4 or gen 5?"
This is basically to ask which I would get should I want to buy either. I checked this morning and the post wasn't there, but in the dream I got a reply from @SpliceCraftTeria saying BW was better. This is something I actually kind of want to do even when Sun and Moon is coming this year.

I was looking around my house for my 3DS and found a bizarre game on a shelf. I can't quite remember it's name so I'll just call it Pokémon Building Blocks Wii, for the Nintendo Wii. The aim of the game is to build houses with your Pokémon in a kind of Minecraft-esque way. My Pokémon were Pikachu and Fearow, and I remember the game specifically saying that training Fearow to be too strong may cause him to damage the houses.

I built a floor with a green-ish carpet and a two-block high wall before my parents called me down from the game and told me to go shopping with them. I went to a place I specifically don't remember being in my town, especially that near my house- a big room full of stalls. I don't remember the exact details but I remember losing a game about marshmallows and then stealing from it.

I woke up somewhere around the time I arrived home.

Last night I had my first realization that I was dreaming.
It was nothing special, but I was dreaming about laying in bed in my old house, and I started hearing noises, beyond the normal "Creaky Old House" sounds that I hear every night.
And then I thought: "Oh :rslime: this is a nightmare"
(Love this new rainbow slime emote, btw)
And I don't remember much of the dream after that. But I think I'm getting better at lucid dreaming, slowly but surely.

Lucid dream !!! (kids cheering)
Well, this night (No, the night so I would wake up this Wednesday, gnomesayin'?) I had a lucid dream. I was always afraid of setting the alarm and waking up the whole family, then get pounded. But today, I realized that the alarm makes barely any annoying noises and wakes me up peacefully. Guess what? I woke up moments before the alarm snoozed :red2:. I have set my alarm to 5:00AM, and didn't realize that when I woke up automatically that night that it was around 4:57AM, so I was like "nahh foke it i'll just go to sleep again it's like 2AM". Then I heard the snooze! Oh wait, I'm too awake now, what to do?! I Hugged a pillow and laid relaxed and I quickly felt that my consciousness is fading...
But here's the thing that I find weird, I just have to FALL ASLEEP while doing FILD then I always enter a Lucid dream, I don't have to go through those weird images n' stuff (Anyone "suffers" from this?).
I woke up in the dream, at first I found myself facing a wall in front of the room's northern sofa, "wait, what's dis? I don't sleep standing?" I blocked my nose and tried to breathe through it, and god that felt godly. I took a look around, then noticed that the night was as light as the day. (Somewhat like the Nightvision potion on MC) and noticed that my whole family were sleeping in a weird position. And once again, stupid me, made sure to not wake them up.. Jesus I'm insane.. The thing is, I read that you shouldn't go with your Lucid Dreams like an idiot when you can't keep them for a long time.. So I was like "I'll just go around and explore.. I'll try to keep this going for a while" And thank god this time it lasted for about 5 Minutes. The thing I thought about was taking a look around my "crib" and noticed that nothing was out of place other than the stupid positions the family was sleeping in.
I approached the door and opened it, then noticed that this dream was not quite lucid.. I mean, I could control my actions but no matter how many times I have tried, I couldn't spawn people. I got out and noticed that our rather.. "Dry" frontyard was lively, the grass was very vivid. I bent down and touched it, and the feel was amazing once again.
I got out to what I call "The highway", because we live in a house in a rather far place, we have to travel a long-ish distance before reaching other people. A weird thing I noticed is, I WAS VERY QUICK. Even when walking, I felt that I'm walking normally, but the distance I traveled in each step was far greater than normal. I already reached our local high-school (Which is a few feets away) in about 5 Seconds (I normally take about 15 running to reach it's back gate) And there I saw a lot of girls from my school exiting it (Normally they shouldn't be there). I realized afterwards that WHENEVER I would reach a girl, it's like I'm not visible to them. They "can't" see me, and when I'm very close (Touch-distance as an example) to them, something would tell me in my mind "BACK OFF, YOU'LL WAKE UP!", I noticed that the world and space around me bent whenever I got too close, so I ran. I kept reminding myself that it's just a dream and kept making sure to do the "Awakeness...? Whatever they call them. Tests, like plugging the nose n'stuff", but to no avail. That's when I woke up again, and forgot to make sure whether it's false or not.

is there a way to dream more?

Sleep more I guess?
The main problem is to remember your dreams, FYI

We actually "dream" several times a night, however most of the time it won't be remembered.
The point with this is you need some more dream recall to remember them.
Can't really be bothered to state helps things ATM because I have to go somewhere though. Might edit this post later with cool stuffs.

What you describe as the WILD method, @Gmayor61 , is basically how i go to sleep normally every night???
To explain, i've mayor problems with falling asleep so i just keep my mind busy with random stuff (usually music) until im relaxed enough.
Im kind of surprised thats supposedly the way to start lucid dreams... but all i ever get is this:
All my dreams are just plain black voids.
And its always accompanied by a sort of vague falling feeling, as if im slowly falling into a nothing.

So what am i doing wrong (or right appartently?)

The only exception to this is from many years ago, when i was a lil kid still and that one was a reccuring "nightmare" where i had to solve some kind of puzzle to escape something.

That's basically what I was hinting at but didn't write because I'm lazy, but yeah exactly that.

...I'm going to metaphor this.

You take a key, you open a door and you go inside. It's completely dark.
All you have to do is look for the light switch.

...Well, that's almost literally what's going on. You're already dreaming by the point that you reach the falling feeling. At that point it's up to you how to leave the void, you'll have to figure out a way that feels sensible to you to get to a new place or make it appear.

1st dream was when i was 10...I just shut down my eyes and imaigne i fall down to earth(the sequence was from a side or from the bottom so i do not see the earth). Then i went full :red: and decided to bite the earth....I shaked for like 1 minute due to the fear

I've come so close to lucid dreaming twice. I attempted WILD and felt a sort of falling and spinning sensation, but I didn't get dizzy. I knew I was about to fall asleep. Of course, I opened my eyes and the feeling stopped before I could fall asleep. Man...

would trying to go to sleep and hearing some weird voice in my head that's not mine point toward lucid dreaming? or am i going crazy? or both?

Huh, okay? I guess ill try it out tonight. First a floor so i stop falling ;w;. Then maybe a door.

Oh yeah, is it possible to have "no dreams at all" due lucid dreaming? I mean, these voids dont really feel like a dream at all, just, well, nothing. So if you're dreaming nothing, is it a dream?

That's part of hypnagogia, part of the pre-dream hallucinations. A nice little rule; when you feel like you're going crazy, you're probably on the right tract towards dreams.

The method you're using is WILD, incidentally that happens to be one of the "strongest" ways to get into a dream due to the circumstance that you're almost fully lucid when you begin dreaming. When people drop into lucid dreams, it's a common problem that sometimes you can't tell it apart from real life due to your senses sharpening to IRL levels.

Dreams are dreams, even if you don't have anything going on, it's still a dream and it can change literally at the snap of a finger.
